1st off, it's been a while since I've posted on here, but it's good to be back. The are so many knowledgeable people on here. I hope this site never goes away. This is a genuine Rolex yachtmaster I purchased in 2006. Its two tone ss w/ 18k gold, a rare black mother of pearl face and has only been worn 1 time. It's been sitting in a lock box for two years and I never wear the thing. I'm more comfortable wearing my reps that the real thing, I guess. I paid $11k for it. A consignment watch dealer online said he'd give me $10k for it, but that was sight unseen and its was a "cash 4 gold" kind of thing. You know, where he sends me a "secured" envelop and I'm supposed to send him the watch. Yeah right. .. Anyways you guys think anyone on here would buy it, or any ideas what its worth?

Watch it there tough guy. I'm no putz. Come down to Orlando and I'd be happy to prove my point. I've been in enough fights to know I can hold my own. It's not worth shoving the guys head through the counter and it's certainly not worth me wasting my time explaining to some shmuch like you what the difference between self restraint and pussing out is. Replica as in, not an M3? It's a real bimmer, but no not an M3. M3's are a bit wider in the rear than the standard coupes, plus it doesn't have the kidneys on the sides and the mirros are e36 M3 style. But I don't think he was trying to make it look like an M3 anyways. It looks clean the way it is, I like it.

Damn thats a sick front end. I know a lot of people just go with an M3 bumper, but thats a nice change of pace. Are those 18's or 19's?

OMG I read the article about the monitor that turned out to be a brick taped to wood. That's crazy. I'm opening every box I buy from now on before I leave the store.

So I went to besy buy to get a digital camera today. Went to one store the guy was very helpful, demoed all the models in my price range, even used my watch to show the close up pics. Damn that really sold me. The detail was amazing on this one sony. But it was sold out. So he checks in the computer, sees the other store has three in stock and I can get one there. Can you hold one for me?, I said. No, but they have three I doubt they'll all sell out tonight. Store closes at 9pm, its about 8:40 and its a 20 minute drive to the other store. So I haul ass over there and make it with about 5 mins to spare. I tell the salesman at the new best buy that I was sent here from the other store for this particular camera, should be 3 in stock. He looks and its sold out. The guy at the other store said you had them in stock. Well the computers must be slow. Check back next week. That [censored] made me haul ass over here to make it before the store closed and they dont even have the freaking camera. Just sell me the display model. Sorry sir can't do that. What about the same camera in the 7.2 mg pixel thingy ($50 more). Thats sold out too. [censored] they had that one available at the other store now its too late to make it back there. Aghhhh I hate best buy.

You should never call someone out on their rep in public, especially not by interrupting a conversation to do so. And even more so, dont do it if your wearing a POS rep yourself. So I was at this performance shop in town ordering an aftermarket M3 bumper for my lil 3 series. Rep watches and a rep car. I can't stop the addiction. Anyways as I'm talking to the salesman, I see this guy pull up in a ML430 suv whatever the sports version of the benz suv is, new body style. He comes in acts like he owns the place, then comes and stands next to me, leans over, stars at my watch for a sec and says, "nice watch, swiss made?" Huh? "Is that a swiss made rep." My first reaction was what an [censored], then I said yeah, how can you tell its a rep? I was wearing a 168 regatta, the 2003 blue face chrono asian 7750. I was thinking he was going to bring up that its ss and not titanium like the gen. He says the luminor is pointing the wrong way? WTF? What are you talking about . He says the luminor was crooked on it. We went back and forth about wheather my luminor lettering was crooked or not, pretty childish actually. Then I take a quick glimpse at his time peice. A fugly ass LV sub with a yellow pearl, horrible bezel, crown sticking about an inch and no dial depth what so ever. But hey it was sweeping, good for him. You know what I said? "Nice Rolex." I asked him how much he paid for it, he said "$600. Its a rep too, swiss made." I was going to try to explain to him about how he got ripped off but I didn't want to call him out. Then he starts going on and on about how he can afford whatever watch he wants, but doesn't see the point in spending the money. After talking to him about reps for a couple minutes I was thinking about going into detail about spending $600 for a so called "swiss made" rep, but I didn't want to waste my time on him. I just told him about this forum.
