I have a Rolex Deepsea with a date wheel that doesn't change over. How hard is it for a watchsmith to fix? How reliable is such a fix? Wondering if I should just buy a new Deepsea with no issues? Looking for thoughts Thanks in advanced!

Thanks for the info lani. Do you find it better to swap the movt instead of servicing? Any savings? Talking about swapping an a7750.

bought my Ebel 1911 in April 2009 and she shot craps about a month ago, needs a complete movt servicing. My IWC Aquatimer I bought in May 2008 stops every once in awhile, especially if I set her on her side. I know the movements come dirty but 5 months and they die? Am I expecting too much from a rep? Only the a7750's do I have trouble with. All my asian 21j and swiss eta copies do fine.

I'm a Porsche man, always have been. I've owned a 1989 944 Turbo. I'm not sold on this new direction they are taking. The Cayenne is ok but it's basically a supped up Touareg. The boxter loooks like [censored] and the Cayman just doesn't do it. Their four door Panamera might be the ugliest thing I've ever seen! Maybe it's me. I love the 911 and I've always been a sucker for a 928 and a 914 or 916.

My birthday is in Feb. My gut is telling me I'm getting a Seadweller for me birthday. I am just hoping the watch is as good as advertised.

Thanks. Go with the IWC, it's one of the most accurate reps outta the box. MontBlanc is an excellent choice, I don't know how accurate it is though.
