Really? Is there a FAQ or something that describes this part of the clockwork? I really don't know what a rotor is...

My PO makes crazy TICK TICK TICK TICK or whirring sounds if I give it a good shake. The movement seems unaffected, though. Anyone else hear it? Maybe, like a case of the clap, it will go away with time.

Well, we'll see how it is once it arrives. As long as it doesn't feel like a trinkety-ass turd, I'll be happy at ~$100.

What are the major differentiating factors? Just build quality, or there other inaccuracies and cut corners?

I know there plenty of owners of both on this board. Has anyone bothered to compare the quality of the two PO's? Obviously the UPO is 45mm and at a much higher price, but people rave about the rep that narikaa carries.
