  1. I own a beautiful HBB all ceramic just recently bought here from seadweller 4k.

A great watch which does not have the common flaws:

missing fine adjuster (most likely faux, but anyway)

and not the "saw" type of center bearing of the rotor.

The only thing I am missing to reach "perfection" is to get a "lasered" engraved rotor, as my HBB employs a (well made) stickered rotor.

There is a assembly instruction from Francisco here to get this rotor together with the non "saw" tape center into the watch.

I have inquired so far a few dealers and Angus from Puretime advised me (as the only one so far), that he can deliver.

Unfortunately Angus has disapeared, he is not responding any more since weeks (I am not the only one- see his section).

So I have to contunue my search for this part and I have hope, that some fellow member can give me an advise, where I could get this lasered rotor.

Thanks for helping in advance folks !

  2. It is only a pitty, that it is still so complicated to get a decent AR coating done.

At least when you live in the EU.

The chief is for us also hard to reach...

Jakub is off, Rocketeer was an illusion...

AR from an optician is also no alternative, looks shitty greenish.

I wonder why there is no one starting up his new business for this service in EU. He must make a fortune, when I see the huge demand here !

What makes this so process so complicated, can someone enlighten my ignorance ?

    cheeers :p

  3. Hi Brian,

I own a Pam 250 7753 version from Josh and suffer from the same problems as you, starting from the "Tachymetre" issue down to the not really recessed subdials.

I have bought me a 7750 case and dial.

My watchsmith installed the dial togethether with the 7753 datewheel, but he says, that he is unable to place the mov into the 7750 case. The wholes of the 10h pushers wouldn

  4. Narikaa and Homer have good reputation. But I have never dealt with them.

I had orderes with PT (Precious Times) before. It was ok.

He is UK based. The quality was ok, the price was a bit high.but you can bargain a bit.

But bear in mind: the max they do is a short glimps at the wath, before they dispatch it to you.

It is pure coincidential if you get good watch or one with flaws....

  5. He is located in Thailand. If you order "UK based" (you must do expressively!) he sends it to someone in the UK first and from there further on.

A friend and me had ordered earlier this year four watches. I had to wait 7 weeks for my AP Roo and the crown came off only one day after its arrival. I am still waiting today for my replacement crown and have meanwhile ordered a spare crown with another shop as I am sick of waiting. My friend received 2 Patek watches, both with quality issues.

This is however not a problem attributable to Eurotimez alone, I also had problems e.g. with Josh. They all have no QC at all, even if they claim so.

  6. Why do we need to buy the watches ?

Our trusted dealer may provide the watches for testing and get it returned thereafter.

This would although cause double shipping costs.

As such a review certainly is a marketing factor for the dealer, he may be willed to cover the shipping cost (at least one way).

Or, as an refinement to member x

  7. With "swiss" ETA movement in a replica you can expect an Asian made ETA clone with reasonable good quality. The term "swiss" shall express here the degree of quality, rather the country of origin. Do you really believe, that thousands of swiss chrono movements are exported to China evey year ?

Very rarly you may find watches with used gen. swiss movements from China.

There are a fair amount of dealer who advertise their quality movements frankly as e.g. "Asian 7750".

    I prefer those.

    cheers :)

  8. I conatcted him.

He is not doing Teflon treatment to AP Roo (or others). Its the standard graphit treatment.

    cheers ;)

    Hi Rwg EU guys,

Important for all the UE rep guys , I find one perfect Watchmaker in EU.

To void customs problems we can not to ship watches in USA for service.

    This person get :

    - replacing Gen Dials in Rep ( good for Frankie lovers)

    - movements mods

    - movements repair and adjust

    - movement Teflon treatment ( right for APROO @12 and Daytona sec @6 and other too like Porto )

    - Swapping monument and all the little big works you need.

You can contact Dmuit rwg member at domi60@arcor.de

    I hope you'll enjoy! ;)

    Cheers!

    Nico

  9. Try Eurotimez (Eurotimez88.com) as well.

He is based in the UK.

Been a fan of Hublot and decided to finally treat me to one. Would prefer to have it shipped from within the eu to avoid customs problems. With that in mind what dealer should has the best rep at the moment? I dont mind spending extra for a solid rep since I plan on using it daily.

Any advice is welcome. I have read the diff threads but couldnt really figure out which version came out on top since I am not 100% up to speed on the differences with gens.

    Thanks!

  10. Hi Folks,

I own a Panerai daylight 250, brushed with SS strap and a very well time keeping 7753 movement, that is worth every Dollar I spend on it. The 7753 avoids the major disadvantage of the 7750 movement normally empoyed. You can adjust the date by the pusher at 10h, like the original.

So enjoy your watch you might think. Well, I would love to, if not our chinese watch developer had decided to incorporate some real nasty little flaws with the 7753 watch, that you don

  11. I've read different things on the bezel which state that both are correct.

Supposedly the US market 250's came with the 'er', whilst europe was 're'.

I read that on Paneristi I believe. Can anyone else confirm this?

The crown is genuine Panerai Auto.

Mate your questions are best directed to FishGoDeep as he built the watch (with The Zigmeister's help of course).

    At least I could find a white dial 250 (=251) on Panerist.com

    So there still is hope..
