These three are just gorgeous, I hope to eventually do my UPO the same, except for the crystal which Chief is currently spinning his magic on.
It must be incredibly satisfying to look at these three beauties, knowing you did all the work yourself.

Did you photo the modification process, I'm reasonably comfortable doing the hands and dial, but have yet to see a definitive 'How To' on adding a Gen bezel insert . I'm aware there is some machining involved and its probably the most difficult mod to do to the UPO. My pearl is n't the best I've seen so I think it will have to go eventually.

I'm gonna with the left as being Gen.
My reason is that on close inspection, the chrono pushers seem just a bit more refined.
Both are simply stunning though, your very lucky

I know that the Seiko orange/black monster is a firm favourite amongst all the watch forums.
I've been on the lookout lately for a black monster to add to the orange one that I already own.
However, I've just been thrown a bit of a curveball by a recent discovery.
The Seiko Night Monster. An ion plated black monster basically, and I was wondering if any of my friends here have any
experience of it. How durable is the coating for example.
From what I've been able to gather, it seems to be only available in the far east, but thats not going to stop me trying
to get one, because I like it a lot.

I think that the second hand itself is moving on the tube (which mounts the hand to the movement), that is attatched to the back of it. There is a tutorial somewhere to fix this but I can't locate it. I think that if your comfortable de-casing a movement and removing hands then its most likely fixable by you.

You've made an excellent choice in watch and dealer. I got my Swiss ETA UPO from him too.
You will not be disapointed.
If you expect many trouble free years from your watch though, you should think about getting it
serviced by a good, rep friendly watchsmith.

Hi all.
Since the U2 is one of my few keepers, I've decided to shod it with genuine rubber, as the dust repellent material has worn off the rubber, it looks pretty awful now.
The best price I can find so far is 55 euros from www.sinnwatches.com
Does anybody know of any better deals out there?

Before I report this, I'd appreciate a second opinion.
Apart from the awful pictures and complete lack of information, does n't the He valve look low?
And the hands are definatley too short and as for the pearl, it looks like a blind cobblers thumb
The price at the moment indicates to me that bidders are n't that sure either, unless they're hoping it is Gen and its just
a poor quality listing.
