  1. this is the first version from Davidsen -

    still i like it a lot :)

it has a lot of flaws (dial-printing, cgs, crown, case ...)

but who has a gen to compare ??

its my beater for a few months now.

his case is slightly different to the

standard case other dealer use - so

    also some comparison shots. :)

waiting for my Palp-crown to complete

    this beauty.

  2. very interesting - i got last week the same GMT-Master like you ...

    but from PT.

i was very disappointed with this watch ... its seems like a new batch of

    cn-watches with new faults ....

the dial printing is very bad - and on mine is the date-mag is off (yours look fine).

mine went straight to the rep-clinic in Austria (thx Oliver) to get a

    new dial ! + insert ....

so way more expensive that i thought

  3. Yes i know date to bold,magnification about 3x...

i had the same but i trade it...

MBW 1A yours waterproof 300m Deep Rehaut, massive bracelet...

MBW 1B mine other case rehaut not so deep, other Dial bracelet with hollew midlink..

    Rg tribal

strangely the 1B is the much better Rep .......

i think its the answer to the "who has the best sub?" question at the moment ;)

but price wise joshs classic sub is the winner right now (but you have to replace the insert)

  4. Hi Frank,

yup, Andrew's 127 is definitely 'real mcCoy' Fiddy rep with all the bells and whistles.

This is the latest iteration of PAM127, with Swiss ETA 6497, working S/N regulator, A/R sapphire (yes it's real 6mm thick sapphire, just like Davidsen's), case is almost 1:1, new bigger crown guard and lever, correct "1950" font on the dial, super Luminova coated hands and dial markers etc...

The only obvious letdowns are still recessed pin and mediocre strap...but both can be fixed without much effort.

    cheers,

    babola

thanks ! sounds very good :)

the adjustment needle in the S/N regulator looked a little to fat to me ....

but i guess i can pull the trigger now ;)
