Mach 3 for me and for some reason I guess my face got so used to them I can only shave every 3 days, anything sooner and I have a roll of toilet paper covering my face. Not good in a 'monkey suit' work environment, although red does go with everything LOL

holy [censored] Hambone. I am so sorry for your loss.. but very glad indeed everyone was safe and sound.. Wow..
Our cottage equipped with ADP fire and all that went off due to a fire and I ended up driving 3 hours north of toronto to meet the fire dept who where as stunned as I was that the smoke alarm went off for no apparant reason.. You all are right 9V alarms work

mile = 10 000 metres?
being in Canada, and using the metric system.. that is way off.
mile = 1609.3* metres
I agree people are diffrent but just look at the logic here ....Inch/feet etc
1 inch (in)
1 foot (ft) 12 in
1 yard (yd) 3 ft
1 mile (mi) 5,280 ft
Metric system
metre (common base unit)
mile = 10 000 metres
kilometre = 1000 metres
decimetre = 1⁄10 of a metre or 0,1 metres
centimetre = 1⁄100 of a metre or 0,01 metres
millimetre = 1⁄1000 of a metre or 0,001 metres
Which of the systems seems more logic/modern too you ?
Dont wanna start a war here, this is just my 2 cents.

The only thing on my radar right now is another GEN to add to my ever growing collection.
This particular GEN is now getting closer and closer as I do have a tracking number.
Cant wait for it to arrive to meet his new existing brothers of the same family.
Thanks to my AD in NZ for pulling a few for me to acquire this one.

Great story my friend.. you have a beauty there for sure.. You know for some reason of all the timepieces I have owned (rep and gen), I to this day have never really gotten over selling my gen 16700.. I still miss it terribly.. Sad I know.

Who do you deal with here in T.O?
That is just it I dont deal with any AD in T.O.
LaSwiss seems to be the only ORIS AD I have seen and they have big prices, even though on most watches they will give you 30% discount in the store. The more expensive (rarer) models or limited ones they give you nothing. So I stay away, I have two good sources overseas and I even get the official ORIS price list from them when they come out. So the savings is huge and it is from an AD so the full international warranty is valid which pleases me to no end.. IF anything goes wrong with the timepiece I can take it directly to to the Authorized service centre @ yonge/bloor, no problems.. thank god ORIS builds a great quality timepiece as I have had no issues whatsoever with any of them..
Oh and Everythingape, titanium is awesome.. to me anyway.. so big yet so light and solidly built.. I love them

I think you'll cause some heartache when you post your first pics of this beauty
hehehe. I cant wait to get it. I hear they are almost all sold out already thru pre-sale. Problem is my AD doesnt know exactly when they will arrive yet. Im hearing late August to early September. However the local AD here said it could be later. Cant get a straight answer . I think that ORIS selectively rolls out the new models slowly or something...Oh well, the AD I deal with is super so im not too worried, just itching to get it.

I have one coming to me from an AD overseas I buy all my ORIS' from. Already gave my deposit.....Cant wait.. It will be my 3rd in the ORIS collection. Less then $2500USD I payed for mine and the AD here in Toronto quoted me $4180CDN.. huge markup and they are limited. I beleive he said Canada will only get 3 or 4 total out of 2000.
