  1. That is soo cute. What a beautiful girl you have there. The watch looks fantastic too. My 2 yr old son seems to have an interest in daddy's watch collection. Of all the reps and genuines I have he loves the PAM's the most, seems he too likes the 44MM and larger timepieces. His favorite of course is my gen PAM183 above all others.. Guess that even at a young age he knows the good stuff when he sees it and wont settle for anything else. Unfortunately he likes to wrap it around his stuffed puppy's neck and carry it around the house.

    LOL

  2. I have had very good experiences with my gold reps, and still have to see their gold plating erased.

I bought a TT submariner to River about 7 years ago (supposedly one of those called "tripple wrapped") and it is almost as first day, even when i have polished gold parts maybe every 3-4 months since then (very carefully, of course).

What do you use to polish the gold plating? is there anything?

What do you use to polish the gold plating? what really works??

  3. I just got one from Eddie Lee. Not too impressed. As some of the asthetics have improved the quality hasn't. The new dials are very good. Nice dark blue and crisp gold printing, but the bracelet leaves something to be desired. The large half moon thumbnail cutout on the clasp also bothers me as well as the fact that the sides of the bracelet are not polished. This is one they can't seem to get right.

I got the black dial/bezel TT from EL.. The bracelet does leave something to be desired (it does have polished sides at least) but the rest of the watch looks fantastic...

  4. Wow you guys are fast.. Thanks for responding.

So I have 3 chrono movements total.

    1. dead asian 7750 (3,6,9) dressed to look like ETA

    2. Genuine 7750 pulled from a beatup TAG

    3. 7750 tricompax stamped/markings exactly the same as #2 but in 3,6,9 configuration

7750 asian looks almost like the tricompax but not quite. Quality is definately not the same....

tricompax looks (markings/quality wise) exactly like 7750 from TAG, cept TAG is in 6,9,12 config.

I wish I could get a nice pic of the movments for you all to see but I cannot get close enough in focus to show. :(

I simply have no use for the two 7750's and wanted to know more about the 7750 (3,6,9) before I decided to get rid of it.

  5. I'll bite..on this one...

    drumming for over 20 years.

quartet, big band in middle/high school.

Drumcorps (snare drum) from 9yrs old until 21 (age out yr). Taught a few during the summer until around 2001.

Marched with the best of them on the DCI circuit if anyone knows about Drumcorps that is.. but Im sure someone has.

Not a single rudiment I cannot play straight, dragged, flammed, inverted you name it.. too bad I dont play too much anymore....losing the chops to play mad fast like that... :) but I can still groove!!

Gone thru 3 sets as a kid. biggest was 12 piece (not including cymbals of course). Have a nice Yamaha DXTIIS I use now hooked up to PC running Sonar software.

    Biggest influences.

    Buddy Rich

    Gene Krupa

    Dave Weckl

    Neil Peart

    William Calhoun

    Pat Torpey

    Alex Van Halen

  6. this is not a second watch he is selling, it is the same watch, different auction was removed and now he updated his pics with proper movement pictures and is trying to sell it again.. I dont feel sorry for him one bit if this auction gets removed as well.

How convenient his last auction is missing all of the movement pics that were stated as being "HIGH GRADE MOVEMENT, VALJOUX 72, INGRAVED 727" and in this new auction he added new original looking movements

    Original item number 330039620703
