My request to VDB for the build was simple...homage Cali fully vintagized with Cortebert 616 movement but in great condition (not too beat up looking)...haha Thanks to Stephan/Helmut for the wonderful work...I'm discovering new details every day with my Cali. Special thanks to projectologist...a fellow VDB owner whose own Cali was what got me hooked in the first place. Thank you for answering all my questions!

After a 6 week wait that seemed much longer, I got my first VDB! I have to admit I never considered myself a vintage enthusiast but I had to have a VDB Cali. My build spec is almost the same as the one listed here.

Just discovered this forum tonight and probably spent the last 3 hours reading up on various topics... Interested in getting a top quality rep of Panerai 249 Cali and 292 as well. Seems like DSN pieces are highly recommended depending on the model. How are his versions of the 249 and 292? Also what price should I be expecting to pay? How about pieces from Trusty Watch Shop? Any comments based on experience is appreciated.
