Thanks so much both of you. Both right! It just needed a bit of a twist in the right direction. I feel really dumb now but like I said i really am new to watches. I read that its not good to hand wind an A7750 movement. I just thought that when the crown is all the way in and you twisted it it would hand wind. Also thanks for not calling me a noob and laying into me for such a silly mistake. cheers

OK, so i've just recieved my first rep. I'm so excited - i researched it for so long and eventually decided on a Brietling Skyland Avenger. I dont know much about watches but have read all the guidlines for using a A7750 movement and have never heard of this problem. I cant seem to pull the crown out. I dont want to force it but have pulled fairly hard and it wont come out. It also barely rotates. Again i dont want to force it but with considerable force I can only turn it maybe 10 degrees if that! Any idea what is wrong if anything? Any comments are appreciated. I have it booked in soon to be serviced with The Zigmeister, but if this is a factory fault I need to get it replaced asap. Thanks

I've just ordered my first rep - took me months of reading RWG to decide what I wanted. I've gone for a Breitling Skyland Avenger V1(updated). Its pretty accurate allthough I think the V2 is supposedly the closest to the gen. I was also considering the Breitling SuperOcean Steelfish which is one of the most accurate reps around. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your advice guys. I was hoping people would say that. Not many people have a good thing to say about the A7750 so its nice to hear a few "sucess" stories. Going to try and get the Chrono Avenger then Will post pics if I get my hands on one.

OK, so this is my first post even though I have been registered for weeks. The problem is there is sooooo much information to read on here. I decided what watch I wanted ages ago - Breitling Chrono Avenger. Then i found out the one I could afford came with an asia 7750 movement. So much is written about this movement and i've come to the conclusion that if you are able to get it serviced asap and take special care in how you operate it it may last a good ammount of time but possibly wont. Also it seems tricky to find somebody to service it. As much as I love the Chrono Avenger (and Brietling chronographs in general), for slightly more money I can get a SuperOcean SteelFish with a swiss ETA 2836-2 movement. I dont know much about this movement - can anyone else give me some inormation if they do. Its still a watch i really like and on the plus side a very accurate rep. Anyways the reason I'm going mad, apart from the ridiculuous time I'm spending here, is that I cant choose between a watch with A7750 or something with a swiss Eta (not chronograph) Can someone choose for me please - I'm sure i'll get both eventually but need to take my first steps slowly.
