  1. Interestingly, myself and a former TRC member both own gen Pannies and occasionaly would meet up with Paneristi guys and partly to engage in chat and partly to chat about the comparive costs and actual worth of rep vs gen. At the time I have a couple of heavily modded Finepix pieces which blew the guys away. The point being we are all into the art and engineering not the cost. They can afford more I afford less but still the same appreciation. The other point I made was tht we are more down on scams than the gen owners since it screws withour hobby. I guess it just depends on how much cash you have or how much of a snob you migt be. I would be just as happy to chat to a guy in a Roller about the joys of summer driving whilst sat in my knackered Triumph Stag or gold cabrio. We would both have the same passion from slightly different angles

  2. Just thought these might be interesting. I am dealing with Tritec in Switerland to get SuperLumoinova to play with some of my reps. Just thought I would show the range and relative brightness/colours. Love the black even if it is a bit lame on longevity and brilliance.

  3. Just a tip for all out there. I was looking at options for refinishing various watch bits and removing sharp edges and burrs from bands etc. After much digging around I decided to raid the wifes manicure kit and found the greatest addition to my tool kit. Bought from the Body Shop a manicure block, some have four some have three sides from fairly coarse through to polishing grade granularity. Tried it out on my new HBB Tuiga to take a couple of edges and then polished it through the grades the results are to say the least impressive. Give it a go and see what I mean for everything from brushed finish on steel or titanium I am going to try a couple more cases tonight and see how I get on. Might try the GST band with masking to brush and then mirror finish the mid links. Also sinc eit is a block it is far easier to keep a line on brushed finishes.Someone may have already mentioned this but just in case
