  1. That depends on the rep. The exposed balance wheel style is called "open heart" .. but the Chinese do in fact have working tourby movements and the Trusted dealers here do have them on their storefronts. Price is the clue here. Look for $500+ for a genuine example. Fake (open heart) Real Real weights on the balance wheel are a good sign.
  2. While I love mark-up as much as the next guy, you always have to keep your eyes open for Dealers who sports a more realistic price schedule. The UPO 45.5mm with Asian ETA was $180 at WatchWoot before he finally burned out and closed his storefront a few months ago. I'm not against anyone making a good living. If you're a dealer here and you charge a lot ... well I don't mind at all ... there are alternatives.
  3. Yes .. I don't know where you got your info, but BK does in fact sell at the same price as WM9 but improves it .. "for free"!! So ... what's the difficult decision to make?

Exactly. Don't trust pics for exact coloration. "Steel color" fables etc ... it's just too subtle a thing to photograph and then display on computer monitors. Some dealers have reeeeally bad white balance problems. Even when they photograph on a white sheet!! LOL
  5. It looks like a re-dialed PO .... :/ The coin-edged bezel is missing ... just a re-dialed PO??
  6. Ebel Discovery 1911 rep is considered by some as the finest rep currently made.
  7. The watch called the "UPO" (ultimate planet ocean 45mm) is the best current 45mm Bond (Casino Royale/Quantum of Solace) Omega. If you can wait for June/July, a new "Ultimate" 42mm Planet Ocean is due for release. You can get the UPO in either Asian ETA copy or Swiss ETA movements. Big price difference. The UPO 45mm accepts genuine Omega parts, so if you like you can make it more and more authentic as you like. Seamaster UPO Asian ETA

Luminova ... on my DSSD ... <--- you need sunglasses at night!! After the charge, the light it throws can illuminate a page! And it truly lasts all night in an even, gradually dimming fashion.
  9. Make certain you register at Watchbitz as an RWG member. This gives you a substantial discount automatically, once approved.
  10. I find really amusing, reading about this watch on the gen forums that even gen Retailers think the side-lights are view ports. That's just nuts. They are there to bathe the beautiful Omega movement in light from all angles as you look at it thru the caseback display-back.
  11. Gotta love the crisp textures on that gen dial
  12. HOLY CROW ... sterile dial .. flying tourby ... it LOOKS like it should say Breguet on there. What is this please? I neeeeed it. And by the way. Why hasn't anyone mentioned this beauty yet?
  13. Yes, I love the white dimple dial Master Collection from Longines.
  14. DOH ... there is a very extensive SUPER REVIEW of three "levels" of quality for the Hour Vision DeVille here on RWG. The review shows all 3 reps with many pics .. the cheap one, the medium one, and the insane expensive one. Toad's Wild Review of the Omega Hour Vision
  15. I was going to write the same thing as narikaa, a few days ago, but refrained. The sad truth is that a dealer can't sustain the "QC" they advertise, as more and more people come to their store to buy their famously QC'd watches .. and then they crash and burn from being too popular and over-loaded. See "Eurotimez" etc. The buyers start screaming that their new replica isn't QC'd as "advertised" and it avalanches from there. I wish no ill will on anyone, of course. I hope this dealer can take on all the new customers and still run every watch through the lightbox for pre-shipment beauty shots and the A1000 Watch-o-Graph ... but that sentiment is completely un-realistic.
  16. tell that to the beavers which drop trees on their spouse/children/themselves. I've see eagles do the "talon touch" with their mates. They spiral each other in flight, and touch talons. It's awesome to see.
  17. To answer the question you posed in your other thread ... your problem was the topic you chose. It asks a rather obscure question instead of proclaiming loudly that you've cracked an un-solvable problem. Your topic deceived members into ignoring your post. Congratulations to you, and thank you for putting a lot of work into solving a problem that no one knew could be solved.
  18. 10th? A typo? Happy birthday, either way!
  19. Wow! this completely contradicts the reviews of the V2 and V1 which came out last year, in which the consensus was the V2 is the better, by far. Very intereting read. Thank you
  20. Yes .. that would be like moving a large pile of sand with tweezers. The right tool for the right job!
  21. Both popular versions have problems so minute that you would really have to be looking through a loupe to see them. Except of course the very troublesome "|10 |" issue. You should never have to pay extra money to fix such a retarded error on a new watch, in my opinion. You have to realize that 10% of the people on these forums are slightly insane and utterly demand perfection from replicas, or they have trouble sleeping at night. If that's the kind of person you are, then no Deepsea rep will satisfy you. If you're more normal, then either would be perfectly fine.
  22. Unless I am missing something important, the movements you link to on Ofrei are simply "Open heart" style. Nothing even CLOSE to a tourbillion. It's just a normal balance wheel which you can see thru the dial of a watch.
  23. Thank you for this. I might be PM'ing you shortly for a darker, redder "stoneground" ... hmmm
  24. Wifi connections are far far faster than consumer cable or DSL connections. Do you mean 3G?
