  1. The ceramic case makes this watch for me. It's different.
  2. rgr that .. I have gigabit here inside the house, between computers and I love it.
  3. I pay about $50 a month in the North Eastern USA. It's a "premium" user subscription to Cox Internet. I ran a SpeedTest and here are the results. So it's at least 25 Megabit .. prolly 30. I forget. It's well-known that many countries around the World have better consumer networking than the US. I don't have Fiberoptic cable coming into my house
  4. Amen brother .. I drive an A8, and whenever I get into a co-workers car .. THEY APOLOGIZE TO ME. Over and over. It's embarrassing. I just like a nice car; I don't care that you have a Hyundai Sonata .. I don't think less of you. But they sure as hell feel differently about me due to what I drive.
  5. This board has an awesome replica soft-goods merchant ... look in the Collector's area for Bergie's ... he's got it all. Don't throw your money down a hole on some crap internet site. Use a trusted merchant.
  6. PAN is the way to go. Linux and Windows support .. it's been around for years and years. Pimp.Ass.Newsreader (PAN)
  7. Congratulations! And yes .... you should never just try and plunge a small bit into metal. At the very least, use a center punch to locate your starting point. Bits will walk .. that's just life.
  8. OrenG: Reagan deregulated the banking industry. Those regulations were put into place to prevent another Great Depression, and Reagan tore them up. Don't re-write history to suit your own political views.
  9. I suppose this just goes to show how upset the World was at the US .. just refreshing the sitting President makes him a Nobel laureate.
  10. Holy Cow you read my mind .. I asked a collector to briefly state the difference between a Noob and a VIP sub and was promptly ignored. thanks!
  11. Some bracelets, like the Planet Ocean bracelet, have internal friction tubes that grab the pins, instead of the pins being split, and "gripping" by themselves. These bracelets with internal friction tubes are VERY VERY difficult to size without the proper long-sized punches and a sizing anvil. Many people here, including the Pros, break and bend these pins even tho they are being very careful. So, your mileage may vary. A little pin removing vise is fine for some bracelets, but a hammer, anvil, and long pin punch is needed for others. *** What a pin vise may look like *** *** What a Hammer/Anvil/Punch set might look like ***

    Comex Aligator

    Outstanding combinations! Beautiful leathers
  13. Thank you for sharing this, Lani. Even someone who is not religious or even has a "problem" with large organized religions can recognize and respect the selfless sacrifice of one man for another.
  14. I note your stikkyball says "FUK U OK!" on it?? Charming Great post ... Im glad to see that you are using those cheapy watches for practice.
  15. Isnt there a full review of this watch somewhere on the board? I seem to remember the cheaper one being compared to the more expensive one AND a Gen in the mix for comparison.
  16. Many people mistakenly think that the sapphire sidelights in the case are to "see" inside, but what Omega was really trying to do was to get more light into the case, so when you look into the caseback, the decorated movement is really lit up and on display perfectly. So don't be upset if you cant not "see much" thru the little side windows. You're not supposed to
  17. I have been anticipating this, raptly
  18. **BOGGLE** Wow I was completely convinced that Gio's bag was Navy Blue with White leather trim!! That's some bad light, there Not detracting from Gio's efforts .. he's a hero when it comes to reviews .. it just looked blue to me
  19. As I have said in other threads on this subject ... I can post plenty of pictures of totally fake people wearing $100,000USD watches
  20. I never really liked Breitlings ... way too busy dials and bezels BUT heck, after seeing this beauty, I might just have to get one.
  21. I think it's beautiful, and yes it needs some "wear and tear" to add to the illusion.
  22. Is it available in chocolate/tan as in the "top" photo of this review?
  23. OH Sorry I did not read it ... it just came in my email yesterday and I did not read the auction.
