  1. There is a replica Bronzo but the Chinese geniuses made it out of stainless steel and plated it in rose gold. I suppose it never occurred to anyone to make them from bronze.
  2. The lume looks like good Tritec luminova .. but trashing your watch case and bracelet is inexcusable. Luckily, there are people here who can re-finish the brushed and polished surfaces.
  3. I wore it this evening, and will wear it today as well.

    Greed

There is an eBay store called "Three Gold Brothers." They buy factory reject Franck Muller dials and resell them to suckers on eBay for the full list price of a pristine service dial. The world is full of assholes.
  5. It could have been a hair. There are plenty of those in replica watches.
  6. Google's Gmail service has chat built-in ... I often see Sead or Vaccum active on chat while I'm checking my email. I don't know if it has the features you require but there it is.
  7. I must correct myself; I did not realize that the genuine 7750 had skyrocketed in price, quite so much. it is not less expensive to replace at your quoted price.
  8. I am by no means an expert on the 7750 but I believe they are dimensionally identical. DW removes the winding bridge and the counterweight, in order to simulate a hand-wound movement, right? Thinking about this, I do recognize that everything is more expensive in the UK, since retailers use USA price points but add the UKP symbol at the end instead of a dollar sign. Something selling for 100 USD sells for 100 UKP over there ... 50% more. So maybe your watch maker is charging you a fair English rate. Have you considered hiring a forum-trusted EU watchsmith to service this piece?
  9. It sounds to be around double the going price (in North America) Isn't that amount more than a fresh genuine Swiss ETA 7750 in a factory vacuum package?
  10. Either type can be dry or dirty directly from the replica factory. If you love the watch, and decide it's a long-haul keeper, then have it serviced by a professional ... and enjoy trouble-free ownership. There are three models. All have some small flaw. Just buy the one that you like the best.
  11. Dufour is what people think Swiss watch makers are .. a man in a house high in the mountains making 4 watches a year to the utmost of quality and design. by hand while biting a table in his teeth (look that up)
  12. I don't get it, RM .. I'm looking at my ceramic PO 42mm right now, and I could swear it's bare ceramic with no paint ... I dunno what's going on here ...
  13. Toro's model is a few years old. Puretime's is quite new. They both have incorrect date windows. Toro has no bevel and Puretime's bevel is too big. It's a beautiful watch .. choose whichever you like best.
  14. Rep makers design sloped, incorrect inner rings (rehauts) in order to fit small, incorrectly sized dials without having to work too hard.

What a build! It's beautiful. I want it
  16. Is this about paint rubbing off? Paint is going to rub off whether the material is ceramic or meat loaf. People keep talking about scratches on the "ceramic" but how about some photos to back up the rumors? Can a pin scratch it? If not, it's not plastic or aluminum.
  17. There are no fake ceramic bezel inserts on any high quality replicas. Not even the very first DSSD rep had a plastic insert, 4 years ago.
  18. Someone fucked up the DNS registry. It was replaced by the administrator's web access tool address. Derp
  19. this is only true of cheap china reps. real moon phase tells you the ... moon phase.
  20. One of Vaccum's many quality services is the application of single or double AR coatings.
  21. This forum is for us, not for the dealers. Remember that. Some people treat them like rock stars, while they get charged a $170 premium for a dirty Swiss movement. Try to have some perspective and keep a grip on reality; you do know that there are dealers who still only charge a $60 difference for Swiss, right?
