  1. I edited my post to show how small the punch is to the actual pin. It's completely insufficient.
  2. The standard pusher you picture has a pin punch of only a few mm. It does not even push the pin 1/4 of the distance it needs to go. The bracelet pin is pinched by its center. It has to be pushed half it's own length to be freed.
  3. Done! Thank you to Offshore, and his WatchBitz store for this comprehensive toolkit and his unflagging support of the community.
  4. I am using your case holder for that purpose. If I had a good punch to drive the pin, I would be all set. I am using your hammer and a very sturdy sewing machine needle as a punch. Not optimal.
  5. At least I have WatchBitz' toolkit so when I put the pins back in, I can use the large movement holder as a pin press. I need to invest in a small vice which attaches to something immobile for pin removal. Preferably with brass jaw plates.
  6. I've been spoiled by bracelet screws and this new TAG 500 reminds me why I despise pins. F'in A.
  7. If you tell us which Country, it would be easier to give you advice.
  8. You will probably want to talk to Vacuum. He can do the things you ask, but to warn you ... if you remove the cyclops you may have to reapply the AR coating to the crystal as well.

    New Here

BKLM1234 is a forum member here, and on other watch forums. He has his own forum area, named "BKs Watch Garage". He is a modder and a dealer. He buys raw watches from the asian factories, improves and modifies them, then re-sells them "as new". Think of them like a AMG Mercedes or a Calloway Corvette ... modified and improved factory pieces.
  10. open the back. Remove the stem, and crown. release the movement clamps. carefully drop the movement, with dial attached into your hand. Remove the hands. remove the dial by releasing the dial fixing clamps. reverse this is to install the new movement. You will need good quality jewelers screwdrivers, hands pulling tools, hands pressing tools and a way to unscrew the case back and some silicone grease to lubricate the O-ring before you attach the case back. If you are uncomfortable with the idea of man-handling something as delicate as the hands of a watch, then please have someone qualified do this.
  11. But knowing is half the battle. Now that the issue is discovered, the factory can work on it.
  12. The way the light was catching my newly brushed VCO made me post this.
  13. The dial and hands for an Asia 21j movement are not compatible with ETA hands and dials. You would have to cut off the dial feet and glue the dial into place, then either stake the hands or source new ETA hands.
  14. Just curious, but if you just joined today, how did you know about TimesShop weeks ago? If you're a long-time member of another Forum where TS is a trusted dealer, then why not post directly in their dealer area on that board to get some results? Not saying you can't post it here ... but posting it to their dealer area on that other board would get you more results.
  15. Oh thank you. A quick snap .. It could look much better. I'll get the camera out and do a proper shot in the morning.
  16. Which modders supply blue AR anymore ... anyone?
  17. Just arrived and not yet resized.
  18. Awesome result. Good luck with the service.
  19. There is a long thin "completion bar" at the bottom of the screen. When it is done, I accept the reading. I find that watches which are out of beat give the most problems with stabilized readings. If you set the watch and wear it for a day or two you will see that the app was correct.
  20. veeeery cool. when a review of the v3 comes out, I'll decide if it's time to buy. should be soon.....
  21. Oh my God. I am such a dumbass. I just realized that the piece I wanted was the Chrono 500M .. not the 3-handed model. LOL !! I guess I'll be selling it on when it arrives tomorrow. Here's the Chrono at TrustyTime http://player.vimeo.com/video/28653964
  22. www.PerfectClonesFor.Me is a better way to get to the site, without the difficult to remember numbers in the URL.
  23. Re-balancing your medication, your doctor is? :yoda:
