  1. make sure you starve for at least 8 days to be slim enough to fit in.

This was the main reason for me to send it back and get refund.

Do you wear other slim cut jackets? All my suits are slim cut (im certainly not a slim guy at 6"3' and 105kg). Are you just used to baggier clothes? Were you able to zip it up?

quality of leather.....not my thing, too.

I dont really understand what you mean? The jackets I have from them are about as good as it gets, without spending $2000+

By the way im not a sales rep or anything :)

  2. how do you know what size to get? I am thinkin about getting one from them, but I dont know what size to get and concerned about the fit.

Yeah I was a bit nervous about that with my first purchase. If you have a well fitting shirt you can get a tape measure and try out some of the measurements listed and see if they are about right for you. For me the back and length sounded fine so I ordered one. Lots of their jackets have sleves that are designed to 'stack' down your arm, so the arm length sounds really long. Also keep in mind that leather moulds itself to your body over time, espcecially across your shoulders.

  3. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up about this company. If you're in the market for a fashion-forward leather jacket these guys are pretty much the only way to go, and by far the most cost effective.

I'm posting this because I've just received my 2nd jacket from them and freaken love it, and its an absolute steal.

They do have a website, but all their best stuff is sold through ebay. They've gotten in trouble with Italian authorities in the past for claiming they copy brands 1:1. I beleive they acutally got shut down for a while but they seem to be running at 100% at the moment.

I found them when obessing over a Rick Owens jacket that I tried on in a store but couldnt afford to spend 1900 quid on. When I got a jacket from this company in the mail I was blown away, the fit was a little different but the quality of leather was about 95% off the Rick Owens version. They really do use lamb leather which makes the

  4. I love reading this kind of thing. Its like the dating advice columns in mags like Zoo and Nuts. Good for a laugh but dont beleive it. Granted pretty much everything she says is basically true, never ever trust a woman on fashion advice. You'll end up looking so plain that even after they dress you they'll notice the man standing next you beofre they see you. :)

When I wear my purple velvet tux jacket I get nothing but smiles from girls, but I'm sure none would pick it out for their friends ...

Now trusting a woman on the fit of clothes, thats something you can definately do ;) They know better than you.

Oh an am getting married but I'm still interested in looking freaken awesome ;)

  5. Thanks for the insightful reply Ubi. To be honest I hadnt even done any reading about the lume used by rolex. I had assumed its all superluminova, but thats only since 2000. Tritium was 1984-2000 and has a life span of about 12 years. Interesting.

I guess it makes sence to keep it original then.

Anyone around that would re-lume with tritium?

  6. Hi folks. I've recently bought a used gen 16610. Its quite old, 19 years infact, and so has zero lume left. Rolex will only re-lume it with a full service. It has been recently serviced, but not by rolex, and is currently +/- 3 secs a day, so I dont feel like paying for a full Rolex service.

Does anyone know any avenues for having a gen re-lumed appart from the modders on here? I dont want to send it to the US (I'm in the UK) but I guess I'd be happy to send it to Domi.

  7. Yeah I guess the avalibitiy is the biggest issue. With Domi you wont have to hope to be able to get a spot in the next run.

From the conversation I've had with Domi though the costs for removing crystal, applying AR, and re-inserting crystal are much more expensive than the same 3 things with Cheif. I guess you get the AR stripping included with Domi and you dont with Cheif.

  8. There arnt exactly many photos of his AR on that thread, maybe 3 tops, and only one shot of each watch which is kind of frustrating (I can take photos of my crystals with no AR from certain angles and see zero reflections).

Is sending a crystal to the US really that risky with customs? Its just a bit of glass. Plus cheif is much (much) cheaper ...

    Edit:

By the way i'm not trying to talk him down, we're having an email conversation right now about some work. He is extremely fast at replying.
