No problem and sorry i have not come back sooner. I made contact with Joshua and was set to order the Navitimer World that day..... right up til I received a reply to my last email request to him. At that point the reply made me think again in trading with him. I can't go into the content of the message here as it would not be fair to Josh to discuss this in an open forum. It does look a terrific watch and I hope one day to be able to contact him again. Unfortunately, at present my feelings prevent me from doing this. Please note ~ this is an individual case. I am sure anyone else who deals with Josh will find the dealing and ordering to be without problem. I do wish him well and publicly state I am not out to blacken his name nor any part of his business. It's merely a break down in communication that I can not accept. Mike

Many thanks Andrew. Did you ever find the time to look at the Navitimer World?
-
Just as a matter of interest.... Why would you go for the Navi World? I know it's all a matter of personal taste but it's still good to hear how others feel about the World. Mike

I thought the 'Slide-Rule' on the Nav World GMT did line up? Can you clarify please. Thanks. Mike

It is and that only throws up more confusion I agree. What would settle it would be if Hackr could actually measure it for us.
-
Really... When you look at an original, even that one is marked at 46mm.
-
Funnily enough... the one I am thinking of buying I have only just noticed that myself... Can't quite make it out but have they spelled it 'Moscuw' by any chance? Mike

Thanks.... Have finally decided... The Navitimer World is for me. Mike

I've taken a shine to a Navitimer World GMT SS White Asia 7750 Chronos 28800bph. Unfortunately the only place I see it for immediate post is overseas with Perfect Clones. To be fair Joshua told me he is sending 5 to 10 packages to the UK every day for the last 5 years.. He said there hasn't been any problems at all. Also never heard of his clients complaining about taxes either.. Decisions..decisions.. Mike

Many thanks yodap. I have now ruled out the Datora. Mike

Mmmmm.... I rather like the look of the Navitimer World GMT... although I would wear it in SS as opposed to Leather. I thought it's size was Dia 47mm x 17mm. I also note on the GMT the hours & mins are independently set on the crown. Mike

Well, I didn't hear back from PT so I contacted Perfect Clones and received a reply that night..... only for PT to mail me the following morning (he'd been away for a few days). PT is more local for me but have to say, the general info and amount of Breitling watches over at PC do seem better. Price-wise there's not much in it. The two Boxes on PC look good too. Heads or Tails....... Mike

Funny you should say that.... I saw a Montbrilliant Datora SS White Asia 7750. It's not as large as the Legende being smaller at 42.5mm x 14.5mm against the Legende 47mm x 16mm but it does show the Day/Month at 12 and a sweeping Date.... Very Nice. This is making my choice very hard... Mike

Interesting... I've been looking at a Bentley 30s Model T SS White Asia 7750 28800bph over at Perfect Clones. Must be one of the largest Dials at 49mm. I also love the three cars stamped on the back case. I would however have preferred the steel band not to be brushed steel.... but you can't have them all. Mike

Thanks, appreciate the comment. Yes, I have read Andrews very detailed and descriptive topic. Excellent material. I should have added this in the opening post, my apologies. I'm trying to build up from this from a 'personal ownership point of view'. Mike

In my quest for obtaining a Navitimer I have come across many online sites and sellers here who can provide what they deem as the 'Best' quality Navitimer. To be frank I have found this a bit of a nightmare and am still heavily reading... browsing.. etc. trying to find which would be classed as the best Navitimer around. So, with that in hand I would like to open this up to you guys and ask what you perceive as the most accurate Breitling Navitimer you have either come across/found or own. Pics are welcome if you think it may help but a description and any other info would be beneficial. Thanks in advance. Mike

Many thanks guys.. I've canned dealing with TopSwiss. I'll sit back now and wait for PT to contact me. Mike

Thanks Guys... I've emailed PT and the reply says they will get back to me Monday. Mike
-
Thanks.... I did think of contacting one. I'll first try the one you previously recommended, Precious Time.... but I also hear what Ken says about waiting.. Which is very difficult considering I'd like to get this sorted ASAP. Mike

Thanks Guys for the info... I have had a look over at the sellers here on the board but there does not seem to be much on offer for what I am seeking. I remember several years back I could pick and choose and got a cracking good Rolex complete with box and documents. This served me well for when I eventually decided on an original. I intend to do this again with my plan being to source a replica with as high a quality as possible and am happy to pay a high premium to achieve this. This would then be used as a 'testbed' to see if it warrants splashing out on the real thing. Obviously I would keep and use the replica, wearing it on occasions when either there would be a high chance of damage or theft. Mike

Many thanks Ken in coming back so soon. I am very glad I found this forum before making my purchase...... there was some nagging feeling in the back of my head to 'check out those sellers'. I'm pretty sure it's a Navitimer I'm looking for and believe I have found the right combination of colour (UK spelling sorry) and strap. I do hear loud and clear what you say though..... Although I am very keen to make a purchase I shall though take time in having a good read in the forum first. It looks like you have a very active group here Ken.... I look forward to an active participation. Thanks again. Mike

Guys, My first post here so if I've made a mistake in asking this here I apologize in advance. Also, if this question has been asked before (I did do a search first), again I apologize in advance. I've looked over the Forum but not sure where to ask this question..... Basically, I live in the UK and have been looking through various Search Engines for a 'reliable' seller of very good quality Breitling Navitimer replica's. I've been to PoshWatch & TopSwiss. Both have emailed me (PoshWatch took two days & TopSwiss have been excellent in many replies). TopSwiss have offered me one of their 'Grade 1 / AAAA' watches (means absolutely nothing as there is no official guideline outside of TopSwiss what a Grade 1 / AAAA actually is.. in other words it's self-hype). I also doubt their integrity when they say the watch will be 99.9% accurate. So.... Is it okay for me to ask; those in the UK ~ who have you gone to for your purchase or who would you recommend? Overseas worries me ~ what with Customs and not being able to talk direct on the phone to ask questions. Thanks in advance. Mike
