  1. Sorry, I meant the UPO

  2. Hi Andei,

Very interested in this. Do you have all the links for the bracelet? I have a large wrist....(don't read into that! lol)

    Otherwise, very interested.

    Mike.

  3. Hi all, I'll write this publicly. Aside from the delivery time which was due to our crazy weather, I have to say that all communications with PrDubis have been nice and friendly. Yes, I'm a bit dissapointed about the AR on the Milgauss, but perhaps I shot from the hip a little on my PM to him in hindsight!! The watch was actually really good value! But Dubis, I'll PM you. I'd deal with again, put it that way - just not when it's snowing!!!
  4. So what is the relevance of putting a drop of water on the crystal, what does that do?
  5. Ooh, gutted Sixx. Hope Karma sorts it out for you!
  6. Hi All, I wonder if you can help? I am intrigued by the methods used to test if a crystal is Sapphire or not. I have found posts about tapping the crystal, placing water drops, scratching with a screwdriver and scratching with glass. My question is: If you place a drop of water on the surface, what exactly are you looking for to confirm it is Sapphire? What are you looking for with a tap? I'm not overly keen on the scratching technique as I have read stories of 'explosions'!! I'd appreciate any advice you may be able to put my way. Thanks, Mike.
  7. I took that more as a comment on the dealers using the wrong forum I guess. I've bought aa Milgauss that he bought from Eurotimez in October or something, pics show wear consistent with this, a bit worried about this now due to the time involved, I could've driven to France a collected it quicker, even with the snow.
  8. I am also waiting on a package from PrDubis and he hadn't answered a PM, however he did get back to me today at 2pm saying that the mail had been delayed a bit due to the snow. Fingers crossed for both of us huh?
  9. I've used PT twice and both times used PayPal, just ask him first.
  10. Thanks Again Lani, maybe a speedmaster then, I didn't realise they were so svelt!! Wow, the more I look at the Milgauss, the more my wallet is threatened, maybe an early Xmas present to myself...
  11. Wo, Lani, there are lovely examples there!! Especially like the Milgauss, My next purchase I think..... Never even thought of the VC before, it's very nice. Thanks for the pointers!!!!
  12. Thanks By-Tor, I get what you mean, they are quite feminine... Does anybody know how thick the Rolex Day Dates / Datejust out of interest?
  13. Hi All, I am considering getting the old man a rep for xmas. Currently he has a Gen Omega Seamaster from about 1986 which is incredibly thin (it has a Quartz movement). I think it is Aqua Terra or something along those lines as it is quite dressy. Anyway, my issue is that he finds bulkier watches uncomfortable and so I wanted to know what you guys thought would be a good rep for him... it has to be thin!! My knowledge outside of 'what I would like' is pretty limited so any thoughts would be most welcome. Cheers!! Mike
  14. You can see the hair in the first pic. And sorry now for the size of the pics, still figuring out the iMac after using a PC forever...
