  5. Hello Guys, I need your help: I am currently looking for a 7836 bracelet that fits my 7032, and have contacted watch international. Today I found this on the bay, and would like to know if this one is gen or rep: http://cgi.ebay.at/VINTAGE-GENUINE-ROLEX-7836-BRACELET-NO-RESERVE-/280573814473?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item415380a6c9#ht_720wt_922 Experts, please chime in. Also still waiting for the gen 380s price to arrive will post the price as far as I got it.. Thank you, J
  6. Hi, I just try to order 380 ELs from my Rlx source and am waiting for a price. As soon as I have it, I will let you know, and also if it is possible to order more than one pair. As far as I understood the 380s are the correct ones for the 7032, and will fit the rep 7836 without mod? Your rep 7836s are from Mary (= watch international)? Cheers, J
  7. Guys, isn't this price a little bit tough? http://cgi.ebay.at/Tudor-Rolex-380-B-end-pieces-/170550406681?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27b598ae19#ht_500wt_922 How much to pay normally for 380 EL's? J
  8. I really like that! May I ask how old she is? Best, J
  9. Wow, just remembered TRC and saw, that I was a User there acouple of years ago...:-) Then, I paused for 3 or 4 years and registered here, and (unfortunately) totally forgot about TRC Just remembering the good ol'times....
  10. Question: would a F.A.Jones case/caseback solve the screw issue on the back? Hmmmm....guess the Jones Case has the serial# engraved on the side....
  11. Hi pp, welcome aboard! Nice to see, that new members also try the search function first :-) For the GMT II C I am not an expert. AFAIK, there are movements with correct hand stack, where you can adjust the hour hand, also called CHS. you should stay away from these movements, because they are not reliable. The reliable ones, where you can adjust the GMT hand, are recommended here. Also called ICHS. Then you should have a closer look to the dials, the rehaut engraving (allignment), the magnification of the cyclops, the crystal, the crown position, case, date font, bezel font and color..... You see, it seems to be not so easy at the beginning. Regarding the Pro Hunter GMT, just type in Pro Hunter in the search bar - there are some really interesting threads about the PVD coating. I would suggest you take a look into the dealers section on the board, look for BK's watch Garage. He has the best and modded GMT II at the moment. Don't know, if he can also supply with the Ceramic version. Did you do a research for GMT II in the Rolex Area? I guess there is is exactly the information that you are looking for. It also depends where you are located, to give a statement from whom to buy. It makes a difference, if you are in Europe, or not. If you live in a country with tough customs, and so on... Good luck, Cheers, J
  12. my personal advice: just relax as one of the guys said before...I have 3 gens, and none of them had a perfect alignment. I went to the AD because it bothered me, and I guess he adjusted the insert. MY 16610 LV still has some gentle play and doesn
  13. correct! just interesting, what the price is for this one. I am thinking about BK
  14. Hi, Thanks a lot, but: "..... where a model with running secs@6, but no chrono function is/was described. Not the crappy faux chrono with calendar function. I think, they are the same buildt quality as all sec@6 models, but without chrono function-just the moving second hand at 6." Looking for the cheaper version w/o Chrono funtion. Just running sec@6, but cannot find on any site... Best, J
  15. .....and still looking...and still looking...and still looking...and still looking...and still looking...and still looking...and still looking...and still looking...
  16. Sorry for bringing back this old thread again, but found it as I tried the search function... I read a lot about Daytonas and we all know, that the models with sec@6 are like russian roulette with 3 bullets... Ok, the 7750 ones suffer from bad subdial spacing. Also died for me. But I also remember the review from By-Tor, where a model with running secs@6, but no chrono function is/was described. Not the crappy faux chrono with calendar function. I think, they are the same buildt quality as all sec@6 models, but without chrono function-just the moving second hand at 6. I did a research on our trusted dealers sites, but couldn't really find info. Has anyone of you one of these models, and can you probably tell me where to look/ask for? There are not a lot of situations when I need a chrono function, and I never hand out my watches - nor reps, nor gens- to anybody. Your advices are really appreciated Thx, J
  17. Ciccio, what a beauty... If you want to start a project, I have a 7032... :-) Still at Domi to mod, but managed to find a dial from DW. We will see.. If you want to sell it, PM me J
  18. Wow, what a nice watch for a few bucks... Thanks for sharing J
  19. let me please ask one question regarding this very beautiful watch: The letters on the backside of the movement : "International Watch CO." - are they printed, or could this also be a sticker like on the Panerai Movements? If it
  20. Hello RLX Guys, I am after the new Datejust 41mm with fluted bezel - the same Model as shown in the pics below. I want to go for one with the Asian ETA Movement. I read in the review from Ubi, that also these cheaper Models are very nice and worth to buy. My question: does anybody here have this 116334? If so, could you please show some better pics than the dealer websites do? Thx & regards, J PS: hey, and even a wristie would be nice... :-)
  21. Perfect-going to collect some funds for our next projects :-)
