  1. Thanks Fish, I have checked out this site: http://www.panatime.com/ What size strap is the original for this watch 20, 22 or 24mm? Also will any size strap fit this watch? Thanks again Dan
  2. Hi All, quick update on this. Apparently my bro would like a black strap - does anyone know if Andrew or Josh offer this style with a black strap. Or maybe i can buy a black strap seperately?? Any help much appreciated. Thanks Dan
  3. he will be 32 :-) not sure how it got censored??? Just lucky i guess. looking at the pics posted above compared with the non swan version on Andrews site the only difference i can see is in the detail in the movement at the top. Is this the case? If thats all it is then he ca live with that i'm sure. - can spend the spare cash to get the watch waterproofed. Thanks for all your replies so far Dan
  4. thank you very much for the quick replies. can someone circle the swan neck on the above pics. Is there a side by side comparission available one with a swan neck and one with out. Looks like a lovely watch so will go with this model. The question is do i order 2 - one for me lol I do need a new rep, but then again dont you always he he Dan
  5. Hi All, my brother is after a PANERAI for his birthday. he has asked me to help him choose one :-) I am thinking of a: PAM177H 44mm Titanium Luminor Marina - Asia Swan Neck but it is quite a lot cheaper if i get it without a Swan Neck. ($228 with or $148 from Andrew) What is a swan neck? Is it worth paying extra for? I am open to other suggestions - i would like to buy him a 44mm version with a brown leather strap and is a bit of a classic / well known model. Any help much appreciated. Thanks Dan
  6. ebay sale -chrono link real of fake: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BN-MENS-TAG-HEUER-LI...1QQcmdZViewItem could be a cheap bargain if real. Thanks Dan
  7. I am very happy with my reps and their accuracy. They both have ETA movements, the sub has supposedly been serviced and does keep slightly better time. I just always assumed a gen Rolex would have very tight tolerance levels and woudl lose secs a year not days. Is this sort of accuracy simply not possible in any automatic movement? Thanks agian Dan
  8. Hi All, A bit of a novice question, so appologies in advanced. I have 2 reps. a "perfect" Sub and a Planet Ocean 4th gen. Both are a few secs fast per day. Would the real deals keep much better time? How many secs do the gens lose per day? Many thanks Dan
  9. Thanks all lots of reading ahead of me Cheers Dan
  10. Thanks for the quick replies. www.replica-watch.info appears to be down - is this the correct url? Thanks again Dan
  11. Hi All, as a novice still on the replica scene - i am keen to learn more. Could some one please post some links to other good watch replica forums and sites. Where is this RWI I keep hearing of? Not sure of the forum policy for posting links - so please PM me if its more appropriate. Thanks Dan
  12. PT did not have the 42.5 orange in stock - so i have placed an order with: trustytime aka andrew i believe. Lets hope i get it before chrsitmas. will post pics when it arrives Thanks Dan
  13. Do you know if its the 4th gen version? Thanks Dan
  14. As mentioned josh does not seem to make reference to the version he carries. Also i was little unhappy with the "perfect" sub. see my previous posts - crown guards overworked, date mag to right and off centre and too visable coronet at the 6 position, diver extension would not deploy. sent it back to him and it came back in the same state! Didnt get a response from my emails after that! I tried a genuine 42.5 and 45 orange PO on last week and the 45 is just to big for my wrist. So 42.5 it is. On the genuine the bezel is very very tight, is the replica similar? I will get in touch with Precious Time. Does he have a site or is it PM only? Many thanks for all the help. Regards Dan
