I have this same setup but only with the rep DW.  So, I take it that the gen DW will fit the rep's case and movement?  This is one of my favorite frankens in the box.  Not too mention it gets a lot of compliment when its out.  The IWC sales clerks (and Rolex) here think it's real.

My favourite gone watch was SOH 46 with a genuine dial. I miss the dial the most, impossible to find any more and it was only around $200!

At the moment my favourite is IWC 5002 with a genuine dial, DW and strap.

Happy feet logo, we really need to get V2 out soon! Just kidding, they look nice but maybe too toyish?

@ cougar: completely understand your point on this. Something that has been easily made well in the past and now they fck it, that should not happen. But with this watch it seems that every detail gets extreme criticism, I suppose next qc pics will be rejected based on the feel that the shine on the bracelet seems different than in the gen pics, or the crystal diameter seems to be 0.1 mm off. As said, some realism into this discussion.

I am really getting tired of this watch. I was interested to see how it comes and apart from the flaws on the dial these are smoking hot. Bezel insert, pearl placement, crystal clarity, wow, they are so well made compared to old PO that had a shitty pearl, shitty placement of the pearl, foggy crystal with completely wrong AR compared to a genuine. Bracelet was ok but not good. 45.5 mm model has still wrong date window edge, logo is high or low, twisted or looses, crystal is not even double side AR coated etc.

And now I see decent reps being rejected because 1 and 2 are not 100 % on the same level. I totally agree if the logo is tilted or the numbers are tilted. But I have a genuine CR PO 45.5 mm and really, its 1 and 2 are as bad (or good) as in some rejected watches.

Sorry for this post but hey get some reality into this.

IF Noob factory CrPO bezel fits, that may be your best course of action as their LM PO has amazing pearl, but its probably a month or two away from release.

+1 No paint will change the fact that the gen insert is grayish, current rep is black. I have a pretty good rep-gen watch comparison as I own both. I bet Noob will make it more gen like.

Hah, I have a genuine and it will not damage from rubbing! Rep on the other hand will too easily. Mine is 1 month old and no problems but need to be careful with it.

Inser printings are way too thin, base color can be seen through them so anyway it is badly done. Waiting for noob update...

Looked at 3 crPO's at the AD the other day and they all had slightly different placement, and a couple of the old po's had HORRIBLE placement.

It was sitting too high on the insert so I took the insert off and reglued the pearl to sit just a bit higher than insert top surface. As you can see, it is not 100 % centered to the triangle but you cannot do anything for that.

My 45.5 mm says hello! New double AR crystal from UPO and pearl reseated:

Also genuine XL PO crystal will fit.

Next to your UPO, Cr looks like genuine!
