  1. Are you talking about movements in replica or genuine Omegas? Like dluddy says, every movement need service one time or another, asias-clone movements should get service before you use the movement. Genuine ETA like 2824 would also need service, but parts are easy to get, most watchsmiths' can repair them and so on.. Real Omega movements are based on the ETA 2892-A2, where the 1120 is known to be one of the best Omega movements. The 2500 is new and has a lower beat-speed (25,200) than 1120 (28,800), you can read an interesting article about why 1120 might be better than 2500 here: rolexreferencepage.

  3. It's just like the original bracelet, pins and bushings. Take it to a qualified jeweler if you want to size it, i've bent pins trying to get them back in place.
  4. I just saw this clip: (Norwegian audio) http://www.adressa.no/tv/?id=12680 I have tried to translate what they say, sry for any bad english: ________________________________________ "The traditional watchmaker-enterprise Alf Lie has launched something rare as a norwegian-designed watch, to the price of 1,8 million NOK (214 600€). Suit-dude: The case is made of polished titan, the movement is made of something called aluminiumsilicium? that's very light and strong. The idea was to make something simple, with elements that would be easily recognisable, like the bowform on the case. Reporter: Who would want to buy a watch to the price of 214 600€? Suit-dude: Mainly collectors who already have a big collection of famous brands. Reporter: Where have you hidden the diamonds and gold? Suit-dude: Hehehe, there is no diamonds, no gold. They may come later, but on this project we have focused on the technical and reliable material of the watch. Reporter: You have so far not made any sales of this watch? Suit-dude: We have customers that's interested, but its the first time that the watch is being promoted in Norway. So we will see." ________________________________________ What do you guys think? Time to be a watchmaker?
