  1. I'm guessing you now long for an original caseback.............
  2. The song is great. Still gives me goose bumps. If his watch collection is anything like his car collection it would be well worth a look. He owns this vintage Maserati Tipo 300S race car. He may have worn his Speedmaster on this occasion. LOL
  3. I have had my UPO for just over a year now. No mods yet. I have worn it in the surf/pool many times with no problems at all. After a surf I wash the watch to rid it of any corroding salt just in case any of the bracelet pins are not stainless. Its my daily watch so there is no real need to constantly be pulling the crown out and re setting the time. I am aware of the stem problems so I am gentle when adjusting the date and the crown and stem have so far lasted well. The only thing I would like to fix is the bezel insert because of the positioning of the pearl. Apart from this I think you would have to be pretty good to spot it from a genuine. I'd also like a genuine case back as the sea monster is more rounded than the flattened Reps monster and looks very nice indeed. Of course nobody is going to see that but it's a nice mod just the same.
  4. Yes and the wave pattern design on the watch face. At first I thought it was a Rolex Sub with the similar shaped bezel "OMEGA Watch of Kings" LOL
  5. I am 90% sure Prince William was wearing an Omega Seamaster Chronograph "James Bond" when he recently announced his engagement.
  6. Just wanted to report that I have noticed a lot of Seamaster Planet Ocean 45s lately Here is a great vid of Mark Knopfler wearing his PO. Also noticed James May (Top Gear) wearing an orange leather strapped PO on an eposode of his Big Boys Toys show. Saw one on CSI some time ago too. Anyone else spotted one?
  7. Ok guys I am happy to say that I have now had my "ultimate" PO for 9 months now and can report that it is an excellent watch. Until recently I was too scared to wear it in the water but I took it in the surf every day for a week on a recent holiday and it literally has not missed a beat. This milestone made me so happy I had to report to you guys. What a great watch Cheers
  8. I'm in Sydney Too. Keep me poste & I'll be there.
  9. Just to clarify its the glass I am seeking. Cheers
  10. Thanks for the welcome. The OP has arrived and is a beautiful watch. Particularly impressed with the ss band which I expected would have spacing and kink issues but it is perfectly rounded and very attractive. The Moon Watch has had a lot of positive comment too. But this OP is stunning. Can't stop looking at it. The start of things to come no doubt..
  11. I am searching for a watch face for a Gen 1960s Omega Constellation as is illustrated in the picture. I have been unable to find a face with the bubble that magnifies the date, and have been told that I will never find one. HELP
  12. Hi all. I am new to the site, this being my first post. I have been a big fan of rep. watches for some time. I have a tressure box full of replicas (all broken) that I have collected while travelling abroad. Recently I was searching for a Speedy moon watch and a friend sent a link to the RWG Speedy Watcheden thread and the rest is history. My Speedy arrived yesterday. I know it
