  1. What was Fransico's turn around time on the watches? I have two AP's waiting for some mod/service treatment and possibly a relume too.

Hmm. This job took about 3-4 weeks - much delayed by a set of hands and some screws that I needed to source from Andrew. - But I would imagine a couple of weeks if nothing goes wrong and depending on the amount of work needed doing.

  2. These 3 were all on holiday at Uncle Francisco's and came back better than ever.

    Some pics. Enjoy

AP BANDS genuine shark skin strap, serviced sex@12 corrected by Francisco.

Haven't yet had the time to fix the bezel screws. The maker put some kind of black sealer making them impossible to remove from the bezel :black_eye:

  3. Silly factories. I've just put mine in the post returning it to Andrew.

I'm sure looking forward to see how they'll fix it. :g:

I still think you others should return the watches to the various dealers - this way putting some light on the issue and forcing the factory to change the process :pardon:

All of the dealers write WATER RESISTANT in their description :black_eye:

  4. Brilliant.

Mine seems to be starting to delaminate having NEVER been worn due to doa strap :black_eye:

So the good news is you don't have to get wet to make it go wrong - just the moist in the air will kill it :(

RETURNING THE THING TO THE DEALER ASAP

  5. This is unacceptable. :nea:

I think EVERY single one that fails should be returned to the various dealers for repair/exchange!

The watch is advertised as WATER-RESISTANT with every dealer I know and this should guarantee that our watches will at least withstand rain.

If this happens to mine it will be returned immediately for exchange. :(

    Outrageous I say

  6. Jeez!! I cannot believe what I'm seeing in those last pics! Got me worried about mine now, although everything seems fine so far...

I had a look on the other side and it's just fine. Soft rubber like and all. So I guess it's just in the moulding of this one that something went horribly wrong. :g:

But anyway check it - and you could replace those flimsy spring bars while there.

I'm kind of paranoid about bracelets/straps having lost a gen navitimer on pilot bracelet in a disco once... :black_eye:

  7. Hey. Got mine today. Swiss version from Trusty :victory:

However the strap broke even before I got i resized :black_eye:

It's hard and very brittle where the spring bars go through.

Don't go sailing with yours before you are sure it's not comming apart!! :pardon:
