Nah just kidding...
I'm in love. Meaning I feel an intense emotional attachment for a treasured object - in this case the vintage Daytona wrist watch.
When I joined this forum I never could have imagined that I would wear a watch smaller that say 43mm on my 7 3/4 inch wrist.
I fell in, with the explorer 39mm - probably the rep I wear most and get a lot of comments about. It's just a classic. Then came SSD, GMT, EXPL II...
Where do we go from here? I couldn't resist having the master spin me my very own vintage Daytona.
Ordered one like this:
Gen crystal and crown, usual spin features:
And YES I'm going to beat it up and put this one on: (just won it on some internet auction site)
Comments and advice are welcome.
Does anyone know if the 7835 bracelet on 6263 fit a large wrist like mine?
I couldn't exactly figure out if 357 end links would fit the latest dw case or if they could be modified to fit?
Regards
T

Maybe Josh puts up some QC pics. I don't believe he would lie about the features of this model. Still hoping it will turn out to be a decent rep. If they have the gen to compare with it shouldn't be all bad. Perhaps even gen comparison pics are avail.

Don't you think we should wait for qc pics before it's deemed completely useless?
-
Ordered one. Hope it's better than you think. Pics on website are always crap.

Had the same strap on my safari. It's epic

U can always reach him through gmail

Not at all. Never had any problems. Send him an email perfect88clones@gmail.com
Beware of the different time zones. He usually answers within minutes.
Take care

Wow. The latest "emperor's new clothes edition" Pam. Love it. Simply beautyful

I prefer non working chrono... It can have thinner profile wit sec @6...
having 7750 sec @9 is good option but visually its a rep...
Pics?
-
Brilliant. Thanks for sharing
-
Wouldn't removing the rotor on a 7750 make it thinner?
-
Who uses their chronos anyway? And especially the screw type on dayt. They are useless from birth
-
I'd accept the non working chrono - but why don't the make a secs@9 daytona. Shouldn't that be fairly easy?
-
-
Do they make a mens version?
-
That would match fine with a vintage dive suit. Brilliant. Never seen that one before
-
If they do any of these I'd sleep under my mailbox
1. Daytona 16520 (secs @ nine) in 316f made right
2. Breitling vintage no date like the 806
3. Seamaster GMT Chrono
4. Vintage Moon watch solid caseback plexi xstal (they did the seamaster didn't they?)
5. 16760 GMT in 316F, lumed - and how about a jubilee bracelet
6. Non tag (heuer) carrera Chrono
7. Tudor Heritage Chrono
8. Royal oak offshore ceramic 2011
Explorer 42mm ult final end 1:1 precise 316f superlume high end edition
10. Linde Werdelin

Thanks Freddy,
Sounds like I'm heading in the right direction then. The bracelet I got has 13 links which I've read somewhere should be total 17cm.
