Don't know if anyone in the UK can help me. Basically I have just received my Davisen PVD111 and it's my first PAM (took a while in coming around!) - but horror of horrors he sent me the brown strap when I asked for the black Now I haven't contacted him and I am sure we can work it out but I am off on holiday on Saturday and was so looking forward to wearing this watch (even paid for speedy delivery from Hong Kong too!!!) I just really don't like the brown strap and I know that I am probably alone in my opinion On the extreme outside chance someone in the UK has a black strap I'd probably remove my right arm with a spoon right now !! Does it actually need to utilise all those 11 gears in normal operation though - or only when the chronos are running? I personally don't run the chronos on mine (once or twice at the beginning) - but I rarely can see my need to use the feature. Unashamedly I just love the style of the Daytona. Mines 1 month old and going strong.

Forget Paris and take her to Prague - much more atmosphere and cheaper too !! G

Well it's taken a little while but I've finally decided to get a Pam !! I didn't think I would see the day but it's like an infection inside you isn't it?! My collection thus far consists of a Gen Cartier Santos TT, Blue face Tag Link Chrono (the watch of the moment), a VC Overseas (white face) with Maltese cross mod in the wings and also a 'seconds @ 6' Daytona 116520 Now I have been reading and reading and.... well to be honest I'm getting in a bit of a mess on this whole Panerai issue!! I think I am correct in saying that Davidsen seems to be 'the man' when it comes to Panerai although I stand to be corrected. My requirements are; 44mm case PVD Superlume Non-fantasy High accuracy (of course!) So opinions please ladies and gents on what direction I should be heading - I am to put this on a decent quality black strap. Heeeeeeeelppp !! G
