took a few pictures of the Monaco, definitely needs a wider strap for my liking - ill be picking up a 22/22 pam style strap in black with red stitching in the next couple weeks.

Just a couple pics of my PO - got a camera for xmas so im still getting used to its functions. Its a lot harder than i thought it would be to take even half decent shots - lighting seems to me to be the most important aspect.

It always pays to do a couple of things before you hand over your money : 1. use a trusted dealer - it is in their best interests to deal honestly with you otherwise they get bad reviews and lose business.\ 2. try to get pictures of the actual watch you are buying - rather than send the dealer a picture to match - the dealers idea of "the same" is probably more flexible than yours ! 3. do the background research so you know what the differences are in the available versions of the watch you are looking at so you can identify which you actually receive. Like i said in the other thread, dont stress - just wait for it to arrive and post up some good clear close up pictures and we will be able to figure out what you've got. What movement did the dealer say it has ? JD

How much did you pay ? If its around that 2 - 3 hundred mark you should be getting one of the better quality reps - unless the dealer you used is not so honest. Are you using a trusted dealer ? Dont be too disheartened mate - post up some pictures when you get it and we'll see what its like

My first rep was the 45 Ultimate PO. It really is a beautiful watch and has a great weight to it. I got mine from Andrew (www.trustywatchguy.com) and had no problems with customs etc.

Currently living in Sydney - moving back to the motherland in Feb 2010. Im a complete rep noob - so far ive picked up the Ult PO Pumpkin of course and a PAM104 and a Monaco that im about to switch the strap on. Im really enjoying the hobby and im looking forward to my next couple purchases ( Carrera Chrono 7750, PAM005 ) Still trying to get my head around the sheer volume of information here ! great forums ! So it would appear that i have been pretty badly bitten by the PAM bug. Honestly at first they did nothing for me, but over the last few months they have grown to be almost the only watches im looking at now. What im after is hopefully a good source of info on all the different models ( at the moment im still having difficulty picking one from another )and variations. I feel this is gonna be expensive haha. Thanks !

Hi all, I just got my Monaco rep from Andrew and my only complaint is id like a slightly wider strap if there is any way to do so. Just looking to be pointed in the right direction with regards to straps that will actually fit (i assume there is a specific width at the watch face that determines what will work and what wont ?) is it likely that due to the width at the watch i will be limited to a similar sort of width to what is currently on the watch ? Ill throw up some pics soonish
