  1. Excellent spots - really like the Longines Grand Classiques. Thank you! Hope to try one on at an AD v soon.
  2. Sixx - further to our PMs, just wanted to say thank you for making contact. Would be good to see some pics/links for future reference, as there are plenty of Carreras around with different designs.
  3. Many thanks Pan man - though I'm after smaller watches (40mm or smaller) but grateful all the same... Cheers.
  4. Paul - this has seemed like quite an undertaking! Well done for managing the project from start to finish! What are the costs if I want one from MBW?
  5. Paneristi - do you know the names of any quartz breitling / tag watches off the top of your head? I have found the aquaracer and golf professional - any others? P
  6. Thanks Fakey - I'm actually looking at a few now. The Pasha Chrono seems to be 42mm and the Santos Chrono PVD is 41.5mm. Any other suggestions?
  7. - I'd have to start wearing a beret and call myself 'Serge' to wear that! I'm not quite eccentric enough to pull that number off. Thank you for answering me though - much appreciated
  8. Can anyone point me towards any quality quartz reps that are 40mm or smaller? The more accurate to the gen, the better. Something Chrono would be nice (so the tick movement is not very visible), or perhaps something without a second-hand on the dial.... Any ideas...?
  9. Anyone? This might be my first rep...
  10. Hublot MDM Quartz Is this a nice rep if someone is after a quartz that is smaller than 40mm? This is the same model with PVD casing: PVD'd Thanks.
  11. Un-believable! Some truly stunning pieces. Need to have a better look when not at work Thanks.
  12. Absolutely stunning! Many thanks! What about non-Pams?
  13. Who stocks unbranded replicas?
  14. Has the crown been modded? Looks better than most Black theme reps...
  15. I am undecided on many things in life... Watches are one of those things. I spend hours reading the forums, fascinated by the engineering and design excellence that goes into these things, and the concentration and skill that goes into constructing a horological masterpiece. Then I close my browser and think to myself, 'for $100 I can get a Casio that updates itself anywhere in the world by radio six times a day to split-second perfection, never requires a service, can survive pretty much anything life can through at it, and will probably last me till the day I return to my maker.' BTW, I'm after a rep PP Aquanaut
  16. Many thanks, Delta - great spot! I saw that thread, but I'm not looking to buy without seeing photos of the finished product. Thanks again though!
  17. Let me see if I understand... Either we vote, or else you'll peel off your lady's stickies... How's that supposed to be an incentive to vote!?!
  18. Thanks Edgematic - great site. But I'm still only seeing gold on silver. (Great Avatar though!!!)
  19. Personally, I'm not looking to mod... Looking for silver on silver straight out of the box.
  20. Indy - we are after silver screws - I understand MBK has gold screws...
  21. Sorry, I meant MBK. I think the 15202 (no second hand on face) may have gold screws, but the 15300 (WITH sec hand) is normally silver on silver. I could be wrong though - however, the AP site depicts the 15300 as silv on silv. Precious Time does a nice version from what I can see on the site, but I understand it is not as good as MBK (doesn't have brushed steel and other refinements). I've been told that the PT one may not actually be Swiss ETA as described... Thats not PTs fault, only what he is told/printed on the movement. Stay in touch - hopefully someone will chime in with how we can get hold of one of these beauties.... The Offshore versions are gorgeous - cannot understand why no one has released as accurate a replica for the 15300 AP RO.
  22. A trusted dealer told me the WMK vers was the best out there - I thought it looked good (brushed steel esp!), but I don't know too much bout reps. Only reason I didn't go for it was because I don't like gold screws on the silver bezel, and they don't do silver on silver. Have never seen WM9 vers so cannot comment. Pls keep me uptodate with your findings...
  23. Can one get an MBK AP RO Jumbo in silver with silver bezel screws?
