  1. Ha.. i still have a lot to learn. Yeah, the adjustable bezels are the ones im trying to avoid at the mo as my last watch had one and i want something different.

    Whats a serviced IWC 3717?

Seen that SPC005 before and although it looks good it doesnt seem as good as the SNL041 you posted which looks lush.

I aint got any issues with reps.. lol I just thought id get a high end rep of an expensive watch like an Omega Seamaster. This one will be my daily wear which will be reliable and i dont need to worry about servicing etc. 2 years warranty and what not.

  2. Lmao @ that pic. My hairyness ain't that bad. Lol.

Reason I said it is because the omega planet ocean likes to trap my hairs unlike the seamaster chain. So some are better than others obviously. :p

here's another pic of that seiko. Yes it's a bit busy but looks a bit better in this pic i think.

and cheers for that suggestion but not a fan of watches with bezels at the mo.

  3. I'm sure they're reliable.. it will be a cheap quartz i'm sure. Would never consider getting one since they're definitely over priced for what you get. I'd prefer to buy something here, service and mod it and you have a great watch that will last you years. Armani, gucci, dkny and the likes don't cut it for me. Save your money and buy a seiko if you want to spend the money for an armani. There's plenty of good seikos i'd love to have :)

Looks quite nice... but alas i aint a fan of link chains as im one hairy SOB on my arms.. lol

  4. ha... yes im referring to a gen Armani item.

I know they aint 'propper' watches but then its a daily one to wear as a 'fasion' watch and i need something reliable at the moment rather than buying a high end rep for it to only fail within the year. This has 2 years warranty etc but just wanted to confirm that they will be reliable.

    Cheers

  5. Here you go - can't guarantee the quality of the seller, I've never used him, but I have bought from CQout before without problems.

It's a quartz, and has the Olympic back, but it's a Railmaster Chrono, and it's cheap to boot!

I have been chatting with Tee-Jay and he has bought from this same seller numerous times and he is highly reccomended by him. Hope thats of some help.

  6. As im considering buying one of their chrono watches i was posed a question by somone who asked who makes the mechinism for the watches and if they are reliable.

As i have done a search and can only find a couple of things on the net stating that there are no brandings in the mech anywhere and that it is of asian movement.

Any input would be much appreciated. :)

    Regards

  7. Honestly i would never have given this watch a second look if i saw a pic online but in person it really stands out from the others.

Really sad to hear that the rep aint on par. :(

The closest one that another forum member has helped me find has a black bezel around it and it just dont look the same.

Tried it on in a store today and like a fool i forgot which model the lady said it was. Actually went in looking to see how the Planet Ocean Chrono fit on my wrist but alas it only comes in a 45mm and seemed a bit big.

This on the other hand was a 44mm (so she said) and it seemed lovely!
