Why is it so hard for factories to get the Speedy right!?
-
Does this have the typical speedy flaws?
-
Great job! Where did you source the insert from? Been on the hunt for a while.

Hi all,
I'm on the hunt for a respected watch smith in North America, preferably located in Canada, who can waterproof an Omega SMP.
Appreciate any help you guys can provide!
-
@kernow nope not yet but I'm thinking it's going to need a new bezel insert. On the hunt for a decent one.

Hi all,
I'm looking for a new bezel for an Omega 2254.50 rep. I don't care if it's a rep bezel, but would like something as close to the original as possible.
If anyone has any thoughts please let me know!
Thanks,
DD

@rinkaan I don't see a link for the site?

Wearing my 300m today!

Very nice! Is that the new MK version? -
@kernow - dude! Thanks so much for sending this. I contacted the seller. I'll keep you posted
-
@kernow thanks so much! PM sent
@mrwozza70 are you looking to build a second 2254 out of your spare parts? If not, any chance you have a bezel insert or hands in that bag of parts?
-
@kernow thanks! I can't seem to find a 300m with a Wave Dial. All the new ones from MK are the ceramic with plain dials
-
Hi all,
Wondering if anyone out there knows if/where you can find a Seamaster with a wave dial?
Thanks!
-
@kernow@mrwozza70 thinking of picking up the MK Seamaster as a base for a 2254 build. Any thoughts as to where I could source the dial, insert and hands?
-
Thanks everyone! I think I'll pickup a new MK as a base. Then try and find the bezel, hands, and dial somewhere. Any thoughts?

sogeha - thanks a ton for the tip! I tried contacting them but no reply
@kernow where did you score the PO insert? My biggest pet peeve on the new MK Seamaster is the insert. The pearl is terrible. Wondering if I found a gen insert if it'd be hard to pop it in. Then I could update the dial and hands like you said down the line. Thoughts?

My main thought is that kernow is your man for this. He has a few gen and franken SMP. I know he has put gen dials and inserts in rep cases. I'm sure he will be along before too long
Thanks man! We'll wait on@kernow for his sage advice -
Shame, it's a great looking watch. M2M or buy the nearest watch you can for the case and buy a dial and bezel from Cousins or eBay. I think the ceramic is available. I don't know if the case is identical, but I'm betting someone here does.
kernow have you any ideas mate?
Good point! I know MK recently released a new Seamaster. I suppose theoretically I could swap out the dial/Bezel and this would be a match for the 2254. Although not sure if the MK Seamaster would accept a gen dial. Thoughts? -
I thought I had seen one of these on a dealer's site recently. I can't even remember whether it was a TD or not. Anyway, talk to Mary marywatch, if anyone can get it, she will find one.
This one?

Thanks! That's the one.
Unfortunately I've contacted PF-818 already and they don't have it.
I'll try Mary too but my understanding is that they're not making this watch anymore. -
Hi all,
I've been on the hunt for an Omega 2254.50 for ages and could really use your help in finding one.
I've contacted all the TD's and none of them have one in stock, or can get one.
Would really appreciate your help in finding one or if you have one for sale please let me know!
Thanks

Is this a gen? I've been looking for a rep of this for a while! -
Hi all,
I recently lost a link for my 42mm Planet Ocean and so I was wondering if anyone would know where I could buy a replacement link or bracelet?
Thanks

Breitling Navitimer Service
in General Discussion
Posted
Hey everybody
I have a Breitling Navitimer that I’m looking to have serviced & possibly relumed/superlumed.
I’m located in Canada and so I’m hoping to track down someone who is either here, or someone who has worked on watches from here.
Can anyone recommend someone with experience and who performs quality work?
Thanks
