  1. Thanks JKay, but I'm looking to get an Omega PO done so I doubt he'll be much help. Anyone else know someone in Canada that could help?
  2. Surely, there must be someone in Canada who provides this service. Also, the term "low level lume work" doesn't exactly inspire confidence - thanks though!
  3. Hey guys, I have an Omega PO I'd like to get waterproofed and superlumed. I'm located in Canada and I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a Canadian watch expert/modder who could provide this service so I don't have to ship across borders. Thanks!!
  4. Hey all, I'm looking to contact The Zigmeister (the Zigmeister) regarding service on a Breitling Navitimer I have. I learned through this forum that he is from Atlantic Canada (as am I) and so I'm hoping I might be able to get in contact with him. I know that he usually contacts you (so The Zigmeister if you read this, please drop me a line!), but if anyone might be able to hand along his contact information it would be really really appreciated. I would love to be able to have my watch serviced locally! Thanks in advance! DD
  5. Hey Panerai153. You mentioned The Zigmeister lives in the maritimes. I also live in the maritimes and have a Navitimer I'm hoping he can service. Any idea as to whether I can drop it off to him? It would be amazing if he could service it because then I would know it wouldn't have to travel far!
  6. Hey guys, Thanks for your replies! I really appreciate the discussion here. As for the strap, the one posted from perfect-hour is what I'm looking for, but with the Breitling deployment clasp instead. I don't see that for sale on perfect-hour, does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks again gang, DD
  7. Thanks Andrew - that's what I thought. Unfortunately, neither of those sites have the strap I'm looking for.
  8. Hey guys, Thanks for the input. Bike Mike - who are Josh and Andrew? Do you have a link to a site? Thanks, DD
  9. Hey all, I recently purchased a Navi on a SS bracelet. I'm looking to also get a leather bracelet for a more weekend look too. Was wondering if anyone here knows where I could get a replica leather navi bracelet in non-alligator finish? Here's a picture of the strap I'm looking for: http://www.perfect-hour.com/bl10041-navitimer-black-dial-stick-markers-working-chronos-pi-1692.html?image=3 Thanks everyone, Dean
  10. So what improvements can we expect to see to this new PO? Will there be a 45mm PO made on rubber like Bonds? DD
  11. I've tried this, but I've had difficulty removing the screws. What seems to happen in most cases is that 1 link can be removed fine, but the second link is more difficult. I've tried it twice, on different watches, and had different results. The first watch, when I tried to remove the screw it kept turning, there was no screw on the other side (to hold while loosening the other). And I can't really explain why this would happen. The second watch, I was successfully able to remove all screws, but then when trying to remove the last link the blank side of the link wouldn't pull out. The other reps I bought were under $120, and I'm wondering if these difficulties were a result of a lower quality strap used? Hopefully the new strap will be better. Thanks DD
  12. Hey all, Does anyone here have any experience resizing the rep Navitimer bracelet? I'm looking at buying this one: http://www.perfect-hour.com/bl10010-navitimer-black-dial-stick-markers-working-chronograph-p-1682.html I'd like to remove one link on either side. Any help would be greatly appreciated! DD
  13. Hey Eton, Thanks for tip on King. The picture you posted appears not to suffer from the sunken date of other reps I've seen. Is this a pic of a genuine you've posted, or have they fixed the date wheel issue on these reps? -DD
  14. Hey Andrew, Thanks very much for your advice! Do you have any recommendations on a dealer? Any that you've had experience with and offer a good price? Thanks again! DD
  15. Hey all, I'm looking to buy a Breitling Navitimer, and I'm looking for advice on the best dealer (ie: fastest shipper, best quality). I'm also not sure if I should go with the Asian 7750 movement or the Asian movement. The former movement is more expensive; but is the design quality (other than the movement) any different than the cheaper Asian movement version? Thanks! -DD
  16. Thanks Ianiaki; this link should work now: http://www.watcheden.com/breitling-navitimer-chronograph-asia-valjoux-7750-movement-with-black-dial-i-11788-p-1.html What do you guys think of that watch? Is there better reps out there?
  17. Hey all, I'm looking to buy my first rep and I want to get a Breitling Navitimer. I've found one I really like on this site: http://www.watcheden.com/breitling-n...11788-p-1.html My question to all you experts out there is: - Is this a good movement for the price? - Are there better Navitimer reps out there than that one? - Where can I buy a replica Navitimer leather strap? Thanks in advance everyone! I'm hoping to be able to join the Breitling rep club soon -DD
  18. Hey, I'm willing to buy the bracelet if it's still for sale! Send me an e-mail to deandavis00(at)gmail.com Thanks!
