I was at Andrews site, Trustywatchguy.com and in his header pic there is a silver and black watch with black face, white sub dials and hour/minute hands and a red second hand. I wanted to know what this watch is. I tried searching through the different watches but can not find it.

I went ahead and placed my order with Andrew. I will post pics of the watch as soon as I receive it.

Well, I decided on a Breitling Blackbird big date over the Skyland Avenger Chrono and when I went to place my order, I sent Joshua some emails. It has been a couple of days and no response. Anyone know what is going on? I noticed a couple of times his site wouldn't even come up. I want to order this watch but now I do not know who to place my order with...

Okay, my next watch I am ordering will be the blue face with black dials and SS band. Will be placing my order for the Blackbird big date here either this week or next. How can you find the price of a watch at King? I see the watches but can not find a price.

I want the blue dial face. I am at a loss as to either the white or black with the blue face. I will definitely need the SS band though. Mike

I need help on another question. Okay, I have settled on a Blackbird big date. I really wanted this one in a blue dial face but the black does not look that bad. Now my question is should I have it sent straight to servicing or should I wait to get it in and inspect it and then send it for service or should I wait a few months before servicing. Is there someone on here that does servicing and can someone give me a rough estimate on how much I can expect tp pay for service on my watch. As always, I thank you all for your time. Mike

Alright, I narrowed it down to a couple and then ran them all by the wife and she picked the same one I had picked, the Blackbird big date SS black Asia 7750. I would have preferred a blue dial face but the black does not look that bad. In case you were wondering what the others were they are; Chronomat Evolution V3 SS Skyland Averger Chrono-blue V2 SS Titanium Chrono Avenger UTC Black I will just have to start with one and add to it! LOL I will have to look into what Jkay said about the PP CC single issue cards, that would be perfect. Mike

Okay, so I keep reading about service and I get that. Matter of fact, I was thinking of when I do purchase a watch is have it sent straight to have it serviced right off the bat. I found a watch I like but I have yet to find a dealer with PP. I have emailed two, both say they do not accept PP. I will continue to look and research more. thanks again! Mike

My mind is mush right now from all the reading still. I also wanted to say thank you to all that I have been talking to in emails and PMs to help educate me. I have two more questions; 1. Asian 7750 versus Swiss 2824-2, your thoughts on this but I am thinking the Swiss is better. 2. I had my wife's CC number stolen about two years ago and it took a bit to get that straightened out so I am very leery about buying international on the internet using a CC. What I need here is some confidence. This is the reason I like paypal, but maybe I should get a CC linked to my paypal. Your thoughts on purchasing using your CC. So you where on the Stingrays? I LOVE hockey, I got my first pair of skates when I was two years old. I grew up in Michigan. I am a huge Wings fan, Liked watching the Detroit Vipers, and even though I lived near Flint, I HATED the Generals, I like Quad City Mallards because they seem to always beat the Generals. The Rays won the Kelly Cup this past year. Man, I sure love hockey, lol Got any pics of you playing?

Man! I have already read a ton of stuff on here and I still feel like I only scratched the surface! I see I will be quite busy for weeks to come. Winpie007, I just really like the overall look of this watch. I feel it fits me perfect as it is solid and strong and I feel it it not your average watch and it is me, lol I know that sounds weird but if you knew me you would understand. I tried on the B01 and it looked really nice. I will check out the others you mentioned, I still have TONS of research and reading LOL......the search button is my best friend so far!!!!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the response. I am going to be a thorn in the breitling guys sides for a while but I will do a bunch of research before asking noob questions. Now, about Germany, ahhhhhh such fine memories I have from living in Germany for 4 years (1988-1992). Matter of fact, I went to East Berlin before the wall came down and I was there when the wall came down. I brought back about a 150 lb piece of the wall and over the years, everybody wanted a piece so I would bust a piece off and now my piece is about the size of a dinner plate, lol I would love to get back there some day, I started metal detecting over in Germany and still do it off and on today. I want this watch before my late October cruise with another couple. The guy always has something better then you type of guy and I know he will not have a Breitling and as far as I am concerned he doesn't need to know mine is a rep. I am looking for a nice rep. chronomat B01 and wanted to know if there is one out there. Also, I wouldn't mind other Breitlings that would follow along the looks of the chronomat. Hello all, my name is Mike and I am in the Aerospace industry, hence my user name, lol I finally found this site after a co worker tipped me to it. Because of my profession, I really like the Breitling watches and currently, I am in the market to find a Chronomat B01 if it exists but I wouldn't mind other Breitlings too. I look forward to learning from you all and I sure hope to be a positive addition to this site.
