By profession I'm a Materials Scientist - worked for ICI Materials for 25 years, now work for an electronics connector manufacturer. Have the usual PhD, MSc, etc, etc.

One of my part-time hobbies (since school) is making custom knives (RSH_CustomKnives), which may turn into a full time business when I retire.

Been interested in watches for longer than I can remember - prefer mechanical movements over quartz (might be more accurate but has no 'soul').

Own (or have owned) Omega, Breitling, Rado, Oris, Seiko auto divers. The problem is when you pay so much for a watch, you cringe every time a small scratch or scuff appears, so I've resorted to wearing the Seiko's all the time as they are virtually bullet proof, but now getting bored with them and looking for something (or a lot of somethings) that look nice (expensive) and I don't mind getting wear marks on - Bingo! - found RWG.
