  1. Amazing - already sourced a PAM036 (think it may be 040 - has black face) from Cats. Getting it next week. Let's see - all I need now are a nice box, some spare straps..........maybe another watch to go with it....oops - seems to be contagious! Cheers, DR.
  2. Buying a "Chronograph" from eBay to find when it arrives it isn't - chronograph dials tell day and date that are set with the pushers. It ran about 20 seconds a day slow ...... but I couldn't get up enough enthusiasm to take the back off and speed it up..... however my son loves it, so it belongs to him now. Thankfully it didn't cost a great deal. My brother once tried to replace the lens back into his watch .......... with a mallet!!!! Needless to describe what happened! Ah well, back to the adverts, Cheers, DR
  3. Interesting... Recently I was bombarded with emails advertising 'My Swiss Replica' until I managed to get the mail server to recognise them as JUNK. Seems from the list that there are a lot more out there to be vigilant against. Glad I found this forum. Cheers all, DR
  4. Hi, just a quick hello to all members. I have got to say - you have an extremely interesting and informative site here. I look forward to finding a reasonably priced version of one (or maybe a lot) of my favorite watches here - Officine Panerai. I think if I had known more about Panerai when I was made redundant 6 years ago, I might have purchased one instead of the Breitling Navitimer that I did get and hardly wore (hard to see the circular slide rule when your eyesight is going - too much reading) - still, it almost paid for the Buell when I sold it. Anyway, enough for now and time to peruse the adverts... Cheers, DR
