Some refinishing on the Case,install a gen Tube and 5,5 mm Crown and a good bracelet.

I'm planning the same build, only I can't decide between the Yuki or Mochacha dial.  Has anybody compared them?  I have to say, this Yuki dial looks great.

I got both, Mochacha is nice too but more expensive.... For the bugs the Yuki is really nice

Hello Gang,
I want to share my latest project.
Not ready yet, but gives a clue how it comes out.

It's mostly Raffles, reshaped the really big CG's inside out. Dial and Hands are also Raffles. Better Plexi T-116, good flattop Date and gen Springbars.

Needs a gen Tube and 5,5mm Crown and a good bracelet.

I suppose need glued.

Normally yes, I put a small gasket over the rehaut put the glass over it and pressed the retainer. Now the whole system sits tight on the Case.

Build another new 1680.
Base watch is a JKF but there is not really much what needed of the Rep.
I reshaped the whole Case, thinned and drilled the Lugs, opened the Cg's.
Installed a gen T-127, gen Tube and Crown, The Dial was horrible so I took a Yuki one with correct hands.
Datewheel is open 6&9.
Modded the Inlay to look more matte.
The Bracelet is the Factory 93150.

The minute marks on my dial are too small. Did you machine your case to have a larger dial window?
 
 
 

No the Case accepts a 26mm Dial without modification.
Maybe you need only a new Dial.

Beautiful, it looks like a new old stock 5513!
What are the specs?

Specs:
JKF Base watch
Drilled the Lugholes to 1,2mm
Reshaped the whole Case to make the Lugs thinner, opened the CG's
Replaced the ugly domed crystal to flat T-19.
Installed a 703 Tube and Vintage 703 Crown
Dial is Yuki 200m first underline
Hands also from Yuki.
Modded the existing Inlay to look matte. Relumed the pearl to white Lume.
580 Endlinks
Fat 2mm Springbars
Brushed the 93150 Bracelet

Doesn't the gen date wheel rotate in the opposite direction from the ETA date wheel? Do you have to change the date every day?

Yes you are right but this is a rare one for 3135.
This is also installed on my 16800.with VR 3135

Best 6 digit in my opinion is VSF 126610 OTB.

The watch looks great!  Where did you source the hands?

They come from eBay and colored to match the Dial Lume.
