Hello Gang,
I want to show my new build.
This is a 5513 Sub build for a colleague.
First I want to take a 5513 Milk Case, but after inspection I noticed that the gen Tropic 19 is too loose and don't fit properly.
I also noticed that the gen Inlay don't snap in.
So I decided to take an old Case with
gen specification that I found in my drawer.
I reshaped the Case, drilled the Lugholes and opened the CG's.
Installed a gen Tube and a old Vintage Crown.
Dial is a Viet 5513
Gen Inlay
I colored the Hands to match the Dial.
Oldstyle Springbars where fitted also
Movement is slow Beat.
Bracelet is not the best but it's marked 93150

I changed the clickwire for a WSO990 one but it's still shitty.
Maybe I'll have to change the tension washer?

Here again.

You can see how bad the datewindow is on ARF.

This is a custom build.
I used a old WM9 Case, installed a gen Crystal, B3 Inlay, Tube and Crown,
Dial and Hands are JF, VR3135 with near perfect Date. Bracelet is TC.

Anyway, the ARF is not bad at all, but it needs to swap the shitty 3135 clone to VR, also the Dial has a too small date window., Date needs also to change.
Bezel click is shitty too.
But with some work you can get a nice Sub.

Anyone know anything about this le Coultre Reference 46 folding alarm clock? Specifically, I'm trying to figure out how to operate the alarm or locate an owner's manual for same.
 
I just finished overhauling this clock and the alarm works (it goes off when I run the hands through a complete, 12-hour cycle), but I do not know how to enable/disable the alarm? The alarm stop (top button) works, as does the built-in alarm shut-off timer (it automatically stops the alarm after about 20 seconds), but I cannot figure out how to manually enable/disable the alarm?
 
The clock does not have an alarm switch or control of any kind, so I am thinking that the alarm may get enabled when you run the alarm setting disc (center of dial with painted black arrow) through a complete, 12-hour cycle. But this is just a guess & I would like to know for sure.

Hey Gang, here is my latest build for now.
Gen 25-130 Plexy and 593 Endlinks on the way.
But to install then gen Tropic 25-130 the Rehaut need to be slimmed a bit.
 
Specs are.
Italian Big Block Case reshaped and drilled Lugholes.
Installed gen 703 Tube and Crown
Gen fat Springbars
Gen ETA Valjoux 7750
Italian 78360 Bracelet from RWI.
Unfortunately it's not Plug and Play and needs a lot of work on the Case etc..
