So, I researched exhaustively, annoyingly asked questions in each respective rep-brand forum, and members from various communities... and I got 7 watches from a gathered consensus to be considered the most accurately repped CURRENTLY AVAILABLE watches in the rep-world. If you have any objections/anomalies in the list please post and tell why and/or if you have any other models that are repped to the same league as these 7, please list any other models. I'm looking for Breitling, Tag, IWC, Sinn and Panerai models that are the most accurate out of the box that requires no mods / without mods. Thank you!! =)

ok so 005K is not available from the dealer I am wanting to get it from. so it's either 318, or 177. So I've been looking at couple brands so far to get a new rep in... a super rep precisely... It was Tag Heuer, IWC, Omega, Panerai, and Breitling... From looking at the quality/level of replication, it seems like Panerai and Breitling are the best replicated rom the 5... Best of Tag (Link Chrono, Aquaracer 500m + chrono), IWC(3717), and Omega (UPO) still doesn't seem like it matches the best of Panerai + Breitling. (Panerai being 005, 111J, 177M, and 318). Another candidate is Sinn U-1 i heard that's extremely well repped. Piguet seems to fall into level of replication of Tag/Omega/IWC, good but not good enough when compared to Breitling and Panerais.. Hublot Big Bang is not within my price range... Not looking for Rolex's... soooo. Now my quest to hunt for the "best" breitling is on... from around 2007, I found out that the SFSO (Steelfish Super Ocean) is the most accurately repped Breitling.. is this still true to this day or is there a different Breitling that is better repped? and is the bracelet or the rubber strap better repped? thank you so much =)

haha i was about to revise my post... but yea i found the same / similar 005, 111J, 177M, or 318 are the best ones... we just need a pam expert to tell us which one from these has the least flaws... thanks =)

ok further research made me believe that 005, 318, and 288 are the most accurate from the bunch. Is this true? (no modding)... and is the 177 (new model that got released)any accurate as the 3 listed above? thanks so much guys

if not, what is the best Out of the box Panerai replica? there are so many... thanks. I am interested in Auto (unless manual wind is more accurately replicated or more reliable)... thanks i'm consdering getting one from Andrew if that slims down the selections... thanks again...

oh ok. i guess when it comes to rolex i'm probably only gonna get a Explorer I or Datejust II, I heard those 2 are the most accurate OOB.

it looks like Tag has really similar models. the Quartz version: (Professional) has the full orange second hand. The WAJ2110.BA0870 has orange tip with black second hand while the WAJ2114.BA0871 has the silver second hand with orange tip. The WAJ2114.BA0871 though has a white square on the 500M part, while the WAJ2110.BA0871 has a black window... so it's wrong. But the pictures I've only seen them in Andrew's site. Not others... maybe it's an error on tag heures site ? IDK Do you know any dealers that has the 500 with black hands? Andrew (on his site) are all silver, which is wrong. thanks

XD) is there a possibility that I will get the "some of the 500 that has the partially coloured second hand" and/or the earlier version? thanks ugh now, i have to debate Asian movement or ETA. then white or black... (are both colors accurate? im leaning towards the white) and if i should get the SS or the rubber strap... crapppp **actually i just read that Selitta movement is more accurate (because of the pearl finish) than the ETA??? IDK where to get them D: i only see asia or eta any help? more info.... On the White version, the real one has black lettering of CALIBRE 5 while rep has blue letters. it looks like the black version with either rubber or steel bracelet is the most accurate. and the gen, has partial color on the second hand too. The one that says PROFESSIONAL has a full colored second-hand, while the one that says CALIBRE 5 has only partial colored second hand.

I am actually liking the tag and the leather strap breit. how accurate are they? i'm also considering a Tag Link non-chrono in black or white, Tag Carrera http://www.silix-prime.com/images/tags013_01.jpg, or the Tag Carrera Caliber 5 http://puretimewatch.com/published/publicdata/PTWWEBASYST/attachments/SC/products_pictures/TAG-2010-07-20-01-01_2_enl.JPG, or that Tag 500M Aquaracer... which one out of the 5 do you think has the least flaws? and thanks for the quick reply!

hey guys.... out of the 4 models listed: Aqua 500m, Link (non-chrono), Carrera C5, and this carrera http://www.silix-prime.com/images/tags013_01.jpg which one is the most accurate to its real counter-part? any experience with any of them? if there are flaws in these models (only falw I know is the non-polished bezel on the link) can you please point them out? i might get one of these in white or black. (are any of the two colors inaccurate? that'd be good info too) thanks!

I am wondering if anyone can recommend me the best / if not one of the best reps from Tag, Breitling, Omega, or Panerai with a ETA 2824/2836 movement. (no chronograph basically). I know that the Aquaracer from Tag is the most accurate but that's a chronograph watch... I am wondering if the non-chrono Link or the Carrera is any good? IDK if the SMP is any good... since 2836/2824 are good movements... I am really looking into the most accurate reps... and I really like almost all models that the 4 brands I've mentioned offer from lots of dealers... thanks!

I thought some Panerais and the simple rolex such as Explorer I (36mm not 38mm) are extremely well repped... It should be in there. I also heard of Links being more accurate than Carreras. I will be paying attention to this thread as well XD

How is the Carrera (Black dial) VS the Link Tachymeter? are there obvious tells/differences between gen and rep? i also heard that the movement on some Tags have same ETA movement as reps/cheaper swiss brands? if anything (meaning if i'm not getting a gen Tissot, or some other similar gen watch) I'll probably get the black dial Tag Link or Carrera (Only because I heard and saw above :-P that the Link is one of the best repped watches out there) i own a gen omega smp ATM, but I don't wear it much because it's my baby... I want to get a everyday wearable automatic watch (reason for looking at Tissot, if you have any other recommendations please give me!!! except thats kinda off topic), if I do decide on the Link or Carrera, I'm just afraid of getting called out by random person (although not likely to happen) that I'm wearing a fake...

I'm trying to sell my Explorer I rep to buy a gen watch that's minimalistic or simple. My max price range is around $150. It can be pre owned or new, but I guess the most important aspect would be the design... Movement doesn't matter. I don't want it too simple like movado (plus I have one already) I'd like it to have hour markers, and second markers... leather strap lack or brown would be very nice... Can anyone help me start looking? Thank you.

Thank you very much for your reply guys, I don't have a ruler handy with me, but I think the crown is the 6mm one, I'm only saying that because of the shape XD. I might send it back to Katt for the replacements of the dial and crown. Or sell this watch outright. How much would this be worth? I have a thread here. thanks
