  1. Very unusual, normally they're pretty prompt. Anyway, I'm sure there is a valid reason as to why there hasn't been a response - best to wait to see what they say, rather than shoot them down.
  2. My only comment is, the movement in the cheaper PAM90 is pretty poor quality and hence appreciate the one in the faux power reserve model much more. Anyway, I think we have concluded it is each to their own on this one.
  3. Hmmmmmmmm, I think my definition on fun is different to yours! :-)
  4. Hmmm, each to their own. Personally, I don't see the huge issue - if you're obsessed with the movement, buy the real thing. I purchased my real Panerai last year and use these purely so I don't risk damaging my real one everyday.
  5. Yep, will post tonight. I've owned various PAMs an this is a good one!
  6. Just got the 90 from H factory with faux power reserve. Stunning watch. Don't really see the concern in the pr, no one is going to watch it until it goes down!
  7. All, I think you may like this. In German, but still brilliant! http://www.watch-insider.com/hublot-eine-hd-videoreportage-aus-nyon/
  8. Guys, any ideas how to clean these? Am I fair to say that generally speaking thy do have a little dirt on them around the edges after some while of wearing the watch? Tryed cleaning, but it doesn't get to the edges with a normal microfiber cloth. Am I being too anal??? do you guys have any pics (macro) of your screws (without any effects so it shows dirt)! Thanks

  10. Yeah, ve very careful on the screwdrivers - I made that mistake today and damaged 5 screws, and they cost $8 each. '1234', who is Mickey and where does he sell his titanium screws? Also gggtnt, I would love to see some pics of you doing it (Ive never done it, but I wouldn't mind chaining my Ice Bang Bezel) - maybe a tiny couple of pics as you do it PS. On the screwdriver, get them from Watch Bitz, for the V6 you want the 2mm screwdriver. Only $5, as oppose to $35!!
  11. It should be possible, not done it myself, but I am sure someone here will be able to tell you any potential issues in terms of fit etc.
  12. Hi, I don't think the damage is quite that bad - and to be honest, I think the case would most likely let moisture in anyway (without the crack). This is the full skeleton model. I may get a new case, if not...up for sale
  13. Thanks for your response. No idea how it happened, I am so careful with all my goods so it was a huge shock. I have concluded, though, the quality of the case it just generally very poor. It doesn't feel great in your hand in comparison to the V6 models. It not hugely noticeable and to be honest, I hardly wear this watch. I'll see if a new version comes out. If anyone else has some ideas that would be appreciated!
  14. Hi guys, I have a HBB Tourbillon skeleton. It's only two months old and only ever been worn for about 4 hours, however the case has a crack in it (see image below). I have concluded the generally speaking the HBB Tourbillon is just generally poor quality. It is not like the HBB V6 models that are solid in their build and quality. Please can anyone give me an idea how I can get the movement moved to a better case like the V6. I spoke to a few dealers and they have all told me the Tourbillon will not fit in a V6 case. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  15. Amazing, I really hope so! This is the guy that send a rubber penis with his watches, though
  16. JamesLee communication is awful. Very slow to respond and he is not an approved dealer. Stick with KB!
  17. Thanks Mills - Very useful! So the 312's issue the movement - other than it not looking like a Panerai movement (and I don't think I have found any automatic Panerai that does?), are there any major concerns with it? I have a PAM111 and would now prefer the 50s case - it just looks very smart!!
  18. Hi, is that the new 127 or has that not been released yet? Thanks
  19. Between: This or This May need to click twice due to the IP login system. To me, the 1950s case is beautiful, but the movement looks very fake?! Please help! Any other suggestions would be welcome for 1950 cases!
  20. I purchased a Panerai PAM111H (Asian Unitas) from Trusty Time. I recently wound it up, however instead of stopping I heard an awful crack noise. Now, when I wind the watch, after a short while is feels like something is slipping. The watch only lasts about 6 hours following a wind (no matter how much I wind it) Can anyone think what the problem could be? Afraid I don't know much about the mechanisms in watches! Can anyone fix this? I spent £220 and it hasn't lasted more than a year!
  21. Thanks Jkay. I like this one more, it is a real shame there isn't a high quality version!
  22. Didn't really need that advice - I can make my own buying decision - I was asking about alternatives and quality.
  23. I'm not too sure, based on the image, the general quality is just poor (dial detail and housing). I'm fairly new in the rep industry, so mod'ing isn't for me...yet! Maybe I should wait a bit, but saying that...most Cartier's I see on the rep dealer websites are fairly poor reps? Am I right to say that?
