This Heuer is very cool...is a rep available yet...?

Clearly a legit Rfactory dial! However, the bottom half of the printing looks fuzzy to me?
it may be photo angle or a refinish done before the practice was sinful!....in any event it's
a very cool /valuable dial.

Mir36,
i may be the buyer of your Tonney dial if it is available? Can you forward a photo?

Mcotter@maxbroock.com........thank you

Can't imagine that Rolex would authorize or sanction a watch that was designed to replicate a prominent model of theirs!
Their history would dictate otherwise & I believe whoever indicates that they did is not credible...
Sorry, the story does not compute....

Thank you Justin,

Gents,
i have misplaced my small Daytona reference book following a recent move! It is of Italian origin
& has a superb chronology of my favorite watch.i have looked at all of the obvious resources w/o
any luck....any direction would be so appreciated...
my thanks, mcotter

You have characterized the differences rather well! The rough edges of the rep can be amended w/ 320 paper
in a 15min time, followed w a soft cloth & pink metal polish...the silky feel is there w/ a small amount of massage

On & on goes your magic! This one continues your history as builder of the "Best"

Wait a minute....was that really Ihooq for real? If so are you still in Canada? I have missed your wisdom & thought you were onto other adventures....

I think negiative political messages should no place on RWG! Considering the election is now past,we should give the winner our support as he may well have very positive impact on our wonderful country!
let's stay focused on the magic of Daytonas, Subs, etc....

Amazing, I can't remember a more spellbinding build story ever! I share your Tudor passion & an Outlaw
MC is a very cool project indeed....thanks for sharing!
regards, mcotter. ( Jensen & Phong get stars for this one!)

Breathtaking! Your case & polish work is the best we have....thanks for the tour.

It's in Arizona, Phong's in Arizona... What a coincidence!

Not to rain on anyone's parade, the dial has script failure for sure!
further the bezel is configured all wrong, compare the thickness ( inner / outer dimension) to the gen & you'll see vast differences... Rarely have I seen a President that really stacks up...

Delighted to know that I'm not the only "mature" watch goof in the free world. I remember in 1964 that a Sub retailed for $200 & I was not even close to spending that much on a watch...well 52 years later & maybe a 100 subs later l am still in love!...best, mcotter

Yup, very cool dial! Can you share the resource?

It would seem unlikely that a service dial would be installed on a watch less than a decade old?
yes, it looks like gilt to me ...

Thanks Hyjynx,
the one I'm looking for is a white dial / black sub dials & crown & pushers in the traditional location.
the Intime model is rather unusual in that the controls are on top?

Aligoat,
i believe your data is all correct, the triangulated Dagger hands are earlier yet 50s for sure.
i handled that same period Heuer at a prominent LA dealer's shop yesterday(described as mid 50s.)
also same dial w/ flat pushers described as 40's.....best,. Mcotter

I have had some success shortening & carefully drilling new cross strap holes . I did one for a very small ladies wrist.
it can be done!

That is a cool looking watch indeed. The resource that can help with all things Heuer is "on the dash.com ".
heuerboy.com is also a site w/ much depth...best, mcotter

Wowser, your 1675 is everything you said it was & then some! Not only is the GMT beyond belief...your essay about the
journey is beautiful, a more articulate story on a rep build I've never seen. Congratulations, a great post & a fabulous
watch...regards, mcotter

Remarkable as always! the polish brings your work to a level way beyond what would be " normal".... you are the master of presentation & the reps you spend time on are the luckiest ever!
Thanks for the wonderful inspiration!
