  1. I would love to see some pictures of the watch she sent you. I asked her for some but she said she didnt understand me. Glad I didnt take the leap! Thanks for the review.
  2. Check out October's Robb Report. Theres an article on Breguet's new Double Tourbillon. Awesome watch with enrgaving of exploding planets on the gears. $347,100. Its the first tourbillon I like the look of, probably because the face is symmetrical. Tourbillons are no more accurate than regular mechanical watches, but I like the labor that goes into them.
  3. Got my watches in a couple of weeks ago! I wanted the tan crocodile strap but I didn't make that clear to Joshua and received the black croc strap. I've ordered a BOB tan croc strap. Joshua was very accommodating and I got the watches in about a week to the East coast US. Overall I'm happy with the Pam. The biggest flaw is the noise. If the room is quiet, I can hear it ticking on my wrist. I've actually had to take it off a few times to be able to concentrate. It has the Asian 6497 handwind movement. Anyone know if the swiss version is any quieter? This watch is as loud as the Rolex Explorer II that I bought in Taiwan for $25. Besides the noise, it is a lightweight, comfortable watch that feels very sturdy. The lume is only good on the hands, the numbers barely glow. It has the recessed pin flaw. I've included a few pics of the Cartier. This is an excellent replica. The major inaccuracy is the sapphire crown, it is a different shape than the gen. It has a ETA quartz movement that is completely silent. The band uses screws and it has a sapphire crystal. Overall I'm very happy with the Tank, as is my girl (it gets constant wrist time from her, as you can see). I'll include some more pictures of her and the watches at a later date.
  4. Haha, no I didn't get taken that bad... I got this before I found RWG for $135. And believe me, I've seen MUCH worse. Its my sixth Rolex rep since my first $25 quartz Sub I bought in Mexico. I started collecting reps when I was 15 with only trial and error to learn by. I actually bought a Yachtmaster in '99 from the infamous fakegifts.com for $180. Now that was a rip-off: display back, the pin broke after a few months. This watch is way better than that one in terms of build quality. Not very accurate to the gen, but solid. I've been swimming 8ft deep in this one, and its accurate enough that only collectors can spot it right off. So its a good everyday watch. Still kinda dissapointed in how much I paid for it after seeing Joshua's. Oh well, live and learn. Anyway, I'm awaiting the arrival of a titanium panerai luminor marina and a cartier ladies tank from Joshua. The Pan has the asian unitas 6497 and the Cartier has the eta quartz. Should be a step up. I'll definately post photos when I get them. Thanks for the honest criticism. So the movement in this sub is probably an asian 21j?
  5. Several obvious flaws on this piece... middle links are solid, the m's dont line up, the 9 is open. Still a quality piece. The date snaps into place at midnight, the crystal is sapphire, and the links use screws. Its funny, the jeweler that removed the back wasn't positive that it was fake, "and if it is, it's a really good one". The lighting was terrible so I couldn't get a good picture of the movement, but using a loup I was able to find the letters "SE". I dont think it is a swiss movement, what do you guys think?
