Hi Gang,
Yep, it's my first ever.
(Excuse my hairy arms. I am a REAL man
)
What can I say? I have owned a lot of reps and a few gens in my lifetime, but this breaks the mold. It's the perfect intersection between rep and gen.
The factory that made this could have easily added the many $zeros to the price that the gen affords itself (especially had they been located in the watch porn districts in Switzerland).
I am amazed at how far we have come in the rep game. We used to cry about major flaws in watches but now we are reduced to .. "*cry* the date mag crystal is too blue-ly ARd..." etc etc.
What a sexy watch.

Nice info mate, have u got your diver v3?
Coming tomorrow!!

Hurt Locker was a good film. I am also a huge Bourne fan and can't wait for this.
That is the split minute chrono for sure. I can just about make out the 'other' pusher.

Strange.
This website has a video documentary about the watch.
You guys should check it out.

Ah, I was under the illusion that it was 39.
It IS 41mm. Thanks MM..MM

Beautiful GEN!!!!
Congrats Buddy. It wears very well.

I would sugest that if you want ti get into modding and working on watches then start easy, somthing like a Pam and work up, what you are talking about is learnint to build a car and starting with formular one, start with a mini!
+1
This is intricate work and it's best to start with a very basic and cheap mechanical rep and then move to the IWC once you have learnt from the mistakes. I made so many when I first started.

I believe it's the new chrono
It's a 41mm
website states 39.

I do too S, but AP needs to have some more middle of the road size watches, as a general rule, they are either huge or tiny.
Need more 41 42mm models.
Then again, when you actually strap them on the wrist, they sit so much larger. My incoming Diver is 42mm but sits similarly to a 44mm Pam.

Also comes in other variations

What do you think of this?
New Lionel Messi L.E.

For somebody who lists this fake with the following description:
"
This is mine 30th birthday present, but unfortunately not my style. The watch is very elegant, unusual and very slightly wear. With crystal Anti-reflective Sapphire glass, no scratches or defects at all. The front ring is gold plated, so it is fitted to bough silver and gold accessories.
The movement is Tourbillon Chronograph so you will enjoy the very precise time."
..he sure does seem to know a little about the watch but it still adamant that he is not aware whether it is fake or not. Of course he knows, he wouldn't list a gen Tourbillon AP on Ebay for peanuts without a little research.

I ordered one of these bad boys now, my summer won't be complete without one.

How sexy is she???
Congrats Buddy, wear in good health.
-
Great shot with a great watch! Congrats and wear her well.
-
What a shame, I love that stuff!
Then again, summerish frags are just not for me per se anyway.
Wore (still smell it), Byredo's Baudelaire.

great post, thanks. luckily you were able to fix it

Stunning pieces gentlemen. The gen dial is also beautiful, love the off-coloured sub-dial on the 5002 which sets it apart so much from the rep dial.
-
This will be my first AP. It's stunning. I wore the gen for a day and fell in love so bad.

A beauty for keeps

Certainly is a looker. Need to be careful how much I'm spending though, quite a few new good releases coming out or just came out.

Hahaha thanks guys. I hate taking wrist shots as pictures accentuate my hair which isn't actually that bad in real life. Ahh First World Problems.
Yep the watch is from Sead. Good smooth transaction, as expected from a trusted dealer recognised by RWG.
Still need to get used to this watch as I am used to Pams and IWC, but boy is this stunning either way!
