It is certainly based upon a real vintage piece but I have not seen one with Arabic Numerals. Also the crowns were much smaller than the one on this rep. But IWC made so many variants of this model back in the day that it would be hard to call it out based upon intentions rather than it being a rep per se.

People go commodity nuts when equity markets are down, I mean why not .. it is safer to have something more tangible, right? Moreover, with a growing global population and thus more demand for a more scarcer product (be it silver/gold/platinum), prices for these commodities will also go up.

Having said that, commodities can be a so so affair in regards to returns as equities can fair much better in the long run.

My money would be in Africa and Far East Asia. Africa has seen some of the fastest growth rates and still has not witnessed some of the miracles of the Far East.

1) Africa Funds (There will be ones covering the whole continent)

2) Asian Funds (With emphasis on the smaller Asian countries thus excluding China and India who should be landing shortly)

I would also look into Canada who got themselves out of the Kyoto Protocol for a reason. Their vast oil potentials in Alberta can equate to fortunes nationally. They, at least Alberta, has learnt from previous mistakes of solely relying on oil and gas, and they have diversified their economy to promote services much much more. I see a lot of potential there for people and their ambitions to start companies and grow.

Oh it looks very good. I just love this watch so much.

Bought the Mont Blanc Legend yesterday.

I was in the shop a couple of days erlier and tried it on, and was amazed.. the sent stayd on for almost 2 days.

But... Now that I bought it and uses is, I feel like the sent is gone in a couple of hours

What do you think, does it last long on you guys?

That's the thing. Good fragrance but it just doesn't last very long. You will have to re-spray several times.

I actually liked it when I tried it on. Dare I say, I prefer it a tad bit more than the older SS brother.

But I dislike the Miramar watches... that glossy finish looks to tacky.

Agonist - Black Amber

Opens up Malty and slightly salty. Then slowly you get a fusion between incense, amber and a touch of vanilla. Great for Autumn.

I think Mont Blanc Legend is the superior scent of the two. A fragrance with a similar-ish vibe is Abercrombie's Fierce or even Chanel Platinum Egoiste.

Another good Mont Blanc, especially for the colder season is Individuel. It is a more sweeter, holiday type of scent.

The logo is really badly painted, I mean what QC????
