I agree, that's at the high end for a gloss dial 5513.

Ask Zach at Red12 Straps, he's made belts in the past with PAM styled buckles.

Yup works well B, but it is essentially white toothpaste.
I use Crest Extra-Whitening toothpaste.
Smear some on the crystal, rub the hell out of it with your thumb, rinse, inspect.
Repeat as necessary.

Well done DH!

Beautiful as all your projects are sir!

If you go to most any AD they will sell you spare spring bars, I buy mine locally for $12/pair. Most aftermarket I've bought suck, they are nowhere near as strong as the gen -they bend easy and the springs give out in no time.
-
I dig the fat font insert on #2 but yes if that is genuine patina on the dial it's likely from high humidity and the guts will need close inspection. And finding a more aged insert is easy.

I feel like a gen wins out over a franken though... thanks for the kind words!
Absolutely fabulous mate but reckon your 5517 may pip to the post
-
Nice, wear it well.
If you want a gen Coke insert with patina for that beauty, I can help you out!

Thanks, it's a franken, here are the details: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/103615-my-rolex-mod-5517/
Both very nice. I miss having a 5517(One of the very first reps I had). Toomuch, is that also from PT?

Gotcha, now that makes sense. The Tudor are referred to as ax hands.
Sorry guys, I was referring to the Tudor snowflake hands (correct naming?) vs. the "mercedes" submariner hands! I truly love the Swords on the 5517 and one of the reasons I would like one
-
If you're not a fan of the sword hands why do a 5517? The sword hands (and 60 min bezel) are the distinguishing hallmarks of the 5517 vs. a 5513.
Now this is a real beauty! I personally am not a fan of the "diamond" style hour hand so this fits perfectly my taste
My dream would be to search for really good and affordable gen parts but I think I'll keep that for my future franken mods, but of course if I find something that is pretty investable I would not want to let it pass unnoticed! This is true eyecandy and the Omega hands fitted perfectly
Yours, EliasAntoineA little eye candy since we're talking Milsubs....

Opps just noticed you posted back in May. My initial order came up short on fabric so I'm trying again -maybe Aug. Thanks for the feedback.
S, I backed a pair on the day the website went live; April 1st. The denim is called the Greenback. I received them at the end of June. I love them. The fit and quality are superb.

B, take a look at the Gustin website https://weargustin.com/ for more info, I have a pair on order but heard great things about them...
Have any photos?
