  1. Maxlawbr, Its a FF homage watch by Time Factors, see Here.
  2. PAM027, Here are a few pix I took last week of my FF07. My quick and dirty initial impressions are good, the finish is nice and solid. The one thing I like about the FF is the simplicity of design. Some don't like the thick bezel but I think it has the cool appearence of a port hole. This has a great vintage feel to it and the accuracy details aside I think there is a lot of bang for the buck. Since there are a heck of a lot less FF WIS out there this will pass must muster with flying colors. Pros: Keeps COSC time Reverse printed bezel insert in clear acrylic like the gen Case thickness seems correct compared to the Precista PRS-50, which lugs are too thick and feels top heavy -I don't get this feel with the DSN version Caseback engravings are correct Cons: Ratcheting bezel (not sure that is correct for the vintage FF???) and quality control gripe: the bezel insert is not aligned perfectly Bezel rim is too thin Dome acrylic crystal is not tall enough compared to gen photos I've seen (sorry, I didn't take a profile shot to illustrate this) Lug spacing 22mm instead of 20mm, I'm not an expert but believe the earlier FF models were 19-20mm in the lug spacing Case shouldn't have a dimple between the lugs for watch strap
  3. Congrats R, looks great! A GMTII was my first new gen Rolex -now long since gone . Wear it in good health.
  4. The more we can stay below the radar, the better! One the flip side I'm sure there's a lot of crossover with TZ members and these forums.
  5. I actually had the strap restitched with this buckle. Your best bet for a Dirk or logo buckle would be risti for sure.

Not much to say except.... outstanding The Zigmeister!
  13. The dial I'm pretty sure is genuine -I have yet to see a redial or aftermarket with the frogs foot coronet. As for having a bubble second hand vs. a straight hand it could certainly have been replaced during a service. If you look at Antiquorum many of the early dial examples have the bubble second hands on them as well. Of course it could be a cobble of parts as the GMT hand is SL and not tritium. I read as well that 1575 movements all have 1570 stamping. Either way, that's a nice watch!

  20. R, you have the bug bad! Hey, if you have the budget -now is the time to seize some pretty good deals out there on vintage pieces. I saw some Tudor Monte Carlo's the other day selling for $8-9k on VRF -a year ago almost double.
