I saw the for-sale post of Shultz for his PAM239 with Takashi datewheel and that inspired me to take out mine, finally install the 2geek datewheel that was sitting in my parts-box and do a few new pix. The 239 is one of my favorite PAMs and a sure keeper.
The PAM239 Destro is a limited series of only 75 pieces which were made in 2006 especially for the French Jeweler Chronopassion, a Panerai AD in Paris. The series sold out quickly and today, these watches are hard to get and pricey. It was the only time that Panerai made a Destro model in the Submersibile case and the only time it made a limited series for one of its retailers.

I recently read an interview with Jon S. von Tetzchner, CEO of Opera. Opera for iPhone is ready since quite some time. Submitted & awaiting clearance by Apple. If and when that will come, remains to be seen.

Very nice post. Reminds me of what is happening on my wrist since more than 10 days. Even though I have many, many watches and usually change them at least every day, my MBW DRSD has also "disappeared" on my wrist. A lot of people argue about the Rolex design but one things for sure - the seadweller and submariner lines are real design classics, just like the 911 or the Coke bottle.

My DRSD - on my wrist since Monday....

Very nice, thank you!

A (BIG) beautiful watch. Wear it well. I really love my (rep version) and it's a regular on my wrist. I could also imagine buying the gen if my appetite for watches was smaller...
-
So this is a gen strap? The one thing I don't like really about my U2, is the strap. The rep strap attracts too much dust. Is the gen any better?

Thanks for doing this review. The Mille Miglia is really a much underrated rep because it looks and feels a lot more convincing that many of the more popular Rollies. I love mine and it looks great on a leather strap too...

Whoever buys a luxury watch at this price on ebay from an unknown guy with one-digit feedback, crappy, blurry pictures and an attitude deserves no better but to be royally scre$&%$wed...

What problem do you mean? I have seen no problem with the advertised one. It's brand new, plus it comes with the Takashi datewheel...
Mine still has standard lume. I would not trust this to anyone but The Zigmeister but unfortunately he's on the other side of the Atlantic with two nasty customs inbetween...
