The only one that I saw was a guy that took an E-series movement out of his own 113 and put it in a rep Fiddy. He then promptly posted it on P-Risti and was called out due to other case differences. I don't know of anyone that sells rep watches with gen movements -- not to say they aren't out there.

I know that watch. Always cool to see my kids making their way around the globe. Enjoy the watch!

This is the only similar Sea Gull watch I've seen in ebay. Price is 250USD shipped.
That one's not a tourbillon, just a regular automatic with the spring exposed. I think you can find Sea-gull tourbillons for around $700-1000 if you're lucky enough to stumble on one.

Nice job!

I'm in for one black, just because you NEVER know.

Great watch. The dial is near perfection, except for the lack of the recessed subdial. In the right lighting though, you'd never know.

I agree with Pug and Babola. This is the best rep ever. Bottom line, though, is that it's a great watch for the money, full stop.

They will shoot you in the face...
LOL...

I wish I didn't like it... but I do.

These pictures are fantastic. Great watch.

Don't make me regret it! Beautiful watches!

Aston doesn't do ugly cars. This one is sex on wheels.

It seems pretty inaccurate to me. Color, sweep seconds hand don't seem right.

Great watch!

I love your 188. I need to get me one of these and mod it for myself. Great job. Did you do the mods yourself?
Thanks

Zig is the man. This one has Finepics datewheel, new dial, old case, single-sided AR coated crystal, OEM crown guard and second generation Lello crown, and, of course, superlume treatment.

Looking very nice. Wear them well. On the 188 is that the original dial or the revised one?
It's the revised dial. I thought that the numbers looked a bit thin. Frankly, I think it's a trick of the light. Here are different pictures of the same watch and dial.
As you can see, Kruzer, these pics were taken within a few seconds of one another, one w/ flash and one w/out. I can't really explain the difference, but with slightly darker effects, the numerals appear much more bold, don't they?
PS -- please let me know if your revised dial is significantly different than this one. It may be worth trying to get another one that's just a bit better.

For most people, it will always be "only a watch." This is a sickness, after all.

Enjoy!

This one could be modded. And the wheels turn.

Looks good to me. Keep it!

I think the top movement is the new E, Asian high-beat. It will be more accurate, both in terms of aesthetics and functionality. The base 6497, be it Swiss or Asian is typically low-beat, in the range of 18,000 vibrations per hour. The high-beat, just like the genuine article is 21k. And it's much more nicely finished. If you can get the new E, do it.

The 201A is a work of art. Congrats!

It will come out just about the same time as the updated 104. Yeah, right.
