roflmao, no one is banned. Why would you be banned? There is a problem with the usergroup you are in (a special one because we like Francisco) I have to remove you from that group into the VIP's and work on remaking your usergroup Give me a second, clear your cookies , and re-login.. Thanks to a good friend who sent me an email heads up about the problem..
-
Ahh, thanks, I'll be sure to order some of those "certain dealer" specials then.. much appreciated for the clarification.
-
I'm going to be doing a group buy on this model, well.. more like a group suicide pact really... that is awful!!

@Jos, I saw you looking at this thread and tried to post before you did, I did not want anyone to think that I was making an accusation because I am not. Just giving my impression based on others that I have (not a scientific method). Thanks for clearing it up for me. I had not even asked my friends in GZ nor Hont whom I asked to buy it for me which movement was in it so I was in the dark and could only go on personal observation. The movement is not the same as I am used to seeing in most other 7750 models, the finish has a lot to be desired and must agree that it looks like the old 21,600. Also,, something you may want to check yourself is the regulator, I'm positive it is a false / faux regulator. I've adjusted it and almost completely removed it as it was not making any adjustments to the movement. Maybe you can confirm.
-
I cant say for 100% certain it's one or the other so I cannot confirm, I held up one of my reps that is 28,800 and one that is 21,600 and it sweeps just like the 21,600 Takashi also made the same comment, he felt it was 21,600 as well. I'm just really disappointed about the quality of the watch, just really subpar imo.
-
@The Zigmeister, It sure does tick like a 21,600bph It is advertised on certain dealers websites as 28,800 @Toad, The regulator is fake, I could pop it off with a little force, it does not adjust anything (at least not on mine) The bracelet is a pressure fitting with two little lips on a clasp which lock into place on the inside of the case, however, one side does not lock at all and simply slides right off. Very little room to stay locked into place even if it did perform correctly. I see nothing but trouble. My advice, stay away from these watches, they were made very cheap and no where near the quality we are used to in super replicas. edit: Forgot to mention that the caseback is correct, it says "Aquatimer"
-
I had requested that Hont get me an Aquatimer as soon as they came out. I was very happy when I received the email that they were close to being done and again when he emailed me with a tracking number for my new Aquatimer. I am a sucker for the Blue and Orange version but will likely buy a Galapagos version as well. This watch is a far cry away from the 2006 and 2007 versions. It is apples and oranges when compared to them as they have a completely different construction in the case, bezel, sapphire, strap and lugs. It's all different. The stainless steel bracelet is not available yet and imo, it is desperately needed as the strap leaves a lot to be desired (but that is likely just my opinion). The construction of the rubber strap where it meets the case and how it's held in there is scary at best, I can see it easily being released from the case and the watch flopping to the ground. A couple obvious problems are 1. Wrong colored subdials at 12 & 6 2. The "0" font is wrong on the bezel 3. The size of the numbers around the bezel are larger than on the genuine 4. The tail on the chrono second hand (big one) is the wrong shape and size. 5. Not positive but I think the "IWC" above the day and date is not the correct width or thickness. The bezel construction is a lot better than a similar Blancpain bezel which was a very soft acrylic, this bezel is extremely hardened and although I am not sure on what it's composition is, I have to think it is a very hard acrylic or similar synthetic compound. These are some quick unedited pictures between playing with the kids and pizza. Sorry for the white balance, maybe I'll fix it later.

George, You are guilty until proven innocent, now watch the state run television and like it! Your government approved reading material is on it's way, hope you like Oprah and Nancy Pelosi. When paranoia overcomes common sense, ridiculous decisions are made, sounds like you are no exception. You would be better off, have more rights and more disposable income if you were a minnow in CA. All the best! G

Black has not been released yet, only the blue.. (genuine) if I am correct. The 21J version of this is also available.. It is a nice watch for sure.. I've held it in my hand it is is good quality!

That is the problem with those cases, the CG holes in the case strip easily. It was a flaw from the maker of that watch. Funny thing is I had a standard 111 case and had taken the CG off,, lost the screw.. turned the area upside down, never could find it.. ran the sweeper and it did not pick anything up. I'm still one screw down.. lol guess I should buy one from ebay too.

Review: Rolex Lady-Datejust Pearlmaster MOP ETA 2671-2
Daytona4me replied to Daytona4me's topic in The Rolex Area
wow... I must be the only one around here looking for watches for my wife or mother or friends, etc.. Thanks for looking Gio.. -
I bought one of these Ladies Rolex Lady-Datejust Pearlmaster for a friend so I could review it and pass it on to him. I am always looking for a nice ladies replica in case I need to buy my wife something to keep her off my back regarding replicas. I have purchased the ladies datejust and although it is a nice ladies replica, I like it a lot but cannot stand the bracelet. THIS watch on the other hand is magnificent in all ways and the bracelet is superior to all ladies Rolex watches imo. Another great thing about this watch is the 28,800bph ETA movement. With a short second hand it gives the appearance that it is "sweeping" or ticking faster than what you are used to seeing on a mens watch. The housekeeping notes: Market: Guanzhou Other Factory Models: Simply too many to list Movement: ETA 2671-2 25 Jewel Automatic which beats at 28,800bph Crystal: Sapphire Weight: 87 Grams Case size: 29mm, same as the Genuine (inaccurately reported as 25mm on dealers websites) Case to Crown: 33mm Thickness 11.5mm Lug Width: 14.5mm Bracelet: Pearlmaster Bracelet, 14.5mm which tapers to 12.5mm Clasp: Hidden Locking Deployant Clasp My first concern about this replica was the construction of the bezel and it's diamond inserts. I was worried that the inserts were not going to be machined well and that the stones would not be consistent in alignment with the other stones (crooked). Thankfully this was not the case. The bezel is gorgeous to say the least and is made with the highest of craftsmanship. The Dial is very nice as well with the diamonds set nicely and uniform as previously described with the bezel. I think the Mother of Pearl dial on a ladies watch really adds a touch of class and style. This watch has become my favorite Ladies Rolex recommendation overnight! I have not been this impressed with a ladies watch in a long time. I am hesitant in calling this a woman's super-rep only because I want to review a Christian Dior rep that is really nice. I have a feeling that one of these two could easily be crowned the champion of Ladies watches. The Chanel J12 rep just cannot compare to the quality of this piece. I have held both in my hand and would recommend this model over the Chanel every time. The bracelet is one of the best things about this watch. Where the ladies date-just leaves a lot to be desired with the bracelet this watch really hits a home run. It is made of solid links and it's construction is of good quality steel. Each link has a nice shape and polished nicely to prevent any sharp edges. The hidden lock deployant clasp is sure to be a hit with the ladies (no more breaking nails trying to release the lever locking clasps). Also take note that the holographic sticker and the printing that is on it is nicer than what we have seen on some of the 21J submariners.

I have been attracted to the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms style since Enzo was making some similar vintage models. I could kick myself for not buying one at the time. When this replica became available I had to purchase it just so I could review it even if it is a fantasy watch. Let me get some housekeeping items out of the way. Factory: Chanel / Chopard (produces almost solely quartz watches) Market: Guangzhou (of course) Weight: 100.4 Grams Case size: 45mm Thickness: 16.35mm Case Back to Crystal Width: 49mm Crown to Case Crystal: Advertised as Sapphire w/AR Coating. My supplier confirmed with me it is sapphire so it's a pretty good chance it is but would love for someone to test it. Lug width: 22mm Strap Length: 115mm / 75mm Strap Width: 22mm which tapers to 19.5mm Strap Material: Nylon, it could be better, to much of a plastic feel. Price: $100 (Colored Dials $105, PVD Case $125) My overall feeling about this watch left me wanting more, not more watches but more in terms of quality. This is not a super rep nor is it a steal at $100 , it is simply a Guangzhou made quartz fantasy watch that has a slightly improved SS case (engraving is decent, weight is ok) what I am saying is if you are used to wearing a super rep, this watch will simply feel like a cheaper quartz rep. There are hundreds of replicas that feel and look much cheaper than this replica so please dont think I am describing it as a worthless canal street $20 rep, it is not, it's much nicer.. but not a high end watch. The bezel insert feels acrylic and I am positive it will easily scratch or be gouged if hit against something sharp. The bezel has a lot of play. It does click nicely around the case but has play in it if you try to turn it clockwise. It is not crisp in it's clicks if that makes any sense. The engraving on the case is very nice. It is crisp and well machined. The same goes for the case back. It has a high polish to it and the etching is nice and uniform as well. The chrono pushers appear to have the locking system like the bce or daytona but on this model it is for looks only. It does not have a functioning chrono pusher locking system. The crown seems a little flimsy but is a screw down crown with decent threads as apposed to many other quartz models with a simple pull in / out function. I am not impressed with the Japanese quartz movement. The ETA quartz is far better in it's function. There is an obvious difference in the feeling when changing time and date on the ETA as apposed to the Japanese quartz movements. The dial is pretty neat. The dial appears to consist of 2 plates, the top plate being glossy or transparent as to display a carbon fiber look beneath. I belive the carbon fiber look is holographic like the Rolex stickers on the case back of many rolex replicas. The markers and hands are luminous but the bezel is not. Without further delay I present to you the photos...

Of course all of these are "Made With A Genuine Watch As Example" and to question the intent of this statement is ludicrous,, you know exactly what he wants to portray with this statement. Of course they are using genuine watches... would they ever lie to us or stretch the truth? nah... never.... Trust every word that is said. But this is by far my favorite "Made With A Genuine Watch As Example" .... So.. the next question is ... how long do you tolerate it and at what point will we see "Made from 1/2 Genuine OEM Parts!" ?
