yeah. i will stay with my version 1 which from my point of view is very good expect the sunken date window. Fake PR doesnt bother me..
-
So that angus anounced the v2 of the big pilot, i tried to see the flaws.
I think that the v1 is much better even with is fake power reserver.
The V2 from angus looks way off.

So yesterday i received my Big Pilot and i really love it.
I want to let the pictures speak so only a small review.
+ Build quality is really nice!
+ Apart from the sunken date windows i dont see any flaws
+ nice screw down crown
+ good AR, you can compare to the AR on my 3717 (old k2222 AR)
+ The strap is very very nice, see the comparisom to the 120$ HKTAN Strap on my 3717, feels very good
- sunken date windows
- no individual serial number on mine (has the same as the one on the first review)
- fixed Power Reserver (No issue for me)
- Rotor was very noisy, so i put on some grease now its really silent
Conclusion: For 200$ it's a must buy for every IWC Fan.

So till friday i have 5 EMS numbers and non is working!!!
Only one works but is very strange, it shows that the item never left china, and is now delivered to its origin??
Very strange, does china ems have problems these days?? Because of olympics??

A member over at RepGeek(mucrewbtp) posted this info, and that solved my Problem :
I am not sure if the movement is the same one I have in my older GMT II. But on mine the gmt hand is set with the stem in the date setting position. I found that to get the gmt hand to track correctly I had to first set the gmt hand, and then turn the stem the other way just until I saw the date start to move, but not change over. Since the modification is driven off of the date change function it seems that this has to be done to engage the mechanism.

no one?

i really love my new gmtII its such a nice watch, but today another problem occured.
The GMT Hand doesnt move. I can set the GMT Hand and when i set the time, the gmt hand moves correct, but when the watch runs normally the gmt hand doesnt move. really strange. Someone knows why or how to fix??

I usually use a 140 or 160 (gray or purple band) driver, but it all depends on which movement resides inside your Rolex rep. The drivers I mentioned should fit most of the ETAs, while Asians will probably require something with a narrower tip.
Rule of thumb - Always use the largest screwdriver that will fit into the slot. This reduces the chances of the screwdriver sliding out of the slot & damaging the screw head or adjoining parts.
with "140 or 160" do you mean 1,4mm and 1,6mm???

Hello
Does someone know what kind of screwdriver (size) i need for the rotor screw (rolex). All my screwdrivers are too fat..
someone has a link for a nice set of screwdrivers, also very small ones for movement work?
