  1. Looks nice. hard to tell with only one photo but hour markers look applied which favours gen.......they are embossed on the rep , which is an amazing piece that unfortunately is no longer available. Hopefully the Elders will be along shortly and shed more light on this. I have scoured the M2M sections but Abyss models hardly come up so i am at the point where I am looking to go gen .......most likely the 42 since my wrists are small.
  2. Thing of beauty that. I would grab one in an instant if they were available. New version of superocean coming out as well, blue one is 3rd down the page Dial looks a bit busy but still OK http://www.breitling.com/en/campaigns/superocean-ii/
  3. Very good rep......... I have the black dial with silver markers AT from Josh........lovely watch that has gotten noticed on many occasions despite it's lack of 'Bling'. No regrets getting it at all.........ETA runs very smoothly and accurate.
  4. Hi. I was in London for a year.......now based in the Midlands. Welcome to the forum. Happy reading and good luck with your purchases !
  5. Yes, Don carries a vast array of straps and a lot of them in shorter lengths. Got 2 nice straps for a BlackSeal, which is a big watch and the standard length strap was too long for my 6.75" wrist. Don sent them over in short length and they are fine. Prices are very reasonable too.
  6. Good one By-tor............ I was wondering why they showed polished bezels for grey and blue dial but not for the black on the official Tag site. The brushed bezel looks good as well but I am at a loss as to why someone has not corrected that ridiculous date font on those models
  7. Some bezels are also not lined up as well as they could be. On the gen shots, the center seam of the bracelet is usually in line with the 2 of the '120' in the 6 o'clock position on the tachy bezel. Similarly, the center seam of bracelet should be almost in line with the space between 6 and 0 of the '60' in the 12 o'clock position on the tachy. That being said, the date is the flaw that will be most glaringly obvious. I have the grey chrono version on order but I already got the Link auto in blue. I kindly requested an inspection of the date window prior to shipping and the dealer complied.........I received a fairly well centered date window on mine. Finepics has stated in another post that the date window issue on the chrono can be rectified by replacing the date disc / ring with a genuine ETA 7750 disc (discussion was referring to SMP chrono, but I assume it may hold true for Link chrono which is also Asian 7750) New Seamaster Chrono Owners Overall these TAG Link reps are truly superb in quality and accuracy..........an opinion expressed by many of the experienced posters here.
  8. Trying to be modest here.......... Apnea (or apnoea here in the UK) is by definition a complete absence of gas exchange or ventilation (breathing). In real life what happens more commonly is hypopnea (meaning abnormally reduced). If you hold your breath........thats apnea. If you're underwater with no external apparatus or snorkel......thats apnea. Obstructive sleep apnea is a specific disorder that is associated with episodes of apnea during sleep. It is commoner in loud snorers. The affected individual has very poor quality sleep and frequently suffers from daytime sleepiness. The reason being is that they unconsciously awaken hundreds of times during the night when they stop breathing so that they get no real sleep. Overweight middle-aged men are the prime candidates but it can affect anyone at any age. These people are prone to illnesses like heart attacks, high blood pressure, depression and impotence. A fair share of people falling asleep at the wheel and causing carnage on the motorways is due to sleep apnoea as well. Oh yeah TTK................that watch looks the dog's [censored] as well. Cheers
  9. Watcher I am in the UK as well and have been considering swapping my Asian 7750's for Swiss ones. Can you suggest any reliable rep-friendly technicians who may be willing to undertake such a task? Thanks
  10. Point taken........... Dammit. You have me thinking again......and just after I've been emailing back and forth about the grey. I'm trying my best not to kill the wallet here. A compromise of sorts............... Chrono in grey AND Senna in blue
  11. It is very accurate as reps go. I have been told and it seems obvious now that this was repped from the actual watch and not photos. I am guessing that this is probably true of the more accurate reps out there. Got the blue one from Josh and I'm well pleased with it.
  12. The details displayed on the textured dial in these shots are truly amazing. Great photo skills. Had the blue lined up in my sights but now I think grey is the way (to go). Cheers
  13. Received the TAG Link Auto today fron Josh All I can say is .............magnificent!!!!! The pics are great but I was still taken aback by the amazing quality and feel of this rep. The bracelet is extremely high quality. Packaged like a vault by Josh and arrived in perfect condition.........the guy is top notch all the way. If anyone knows of ANY unmodded rep that can match this for quality (at similar price) I would be most interested to know. Thanks to Josh again for another perfect transaction. Jason
  14. There is massive variation in what doctors make according to their seniority and work activity. Independent of their hospital salary though, is their private practice income..........in the UK this is what separates the goats from the sheep. One of my Consultants ('Attendings') for example, sweats away on 12-16 hour cancer operations in the big hospital for nothing in excess of his monthly salary ( around £5000) However, on a Saturday, he will treat about 10 - 15 private patients performing very simple, bread and butter procedures on them and clear £20 - £40 k easily for that one day. He is not a big watch man.........I've seen him wearing a TAG and a Baume & Mercier. However, he likes cars........... His colection includes : Porsche Carrera 4, Aston Martin DB9 Volante and Ferrari 575 Maranello.
  15. Ok.....ok You and your damned fine photos........ Resisted long enough. Pulled the trigger on this one with Josh yesterday. Will let you know how it goes. BTW the Omega AT Black face is sweeeeet.....especially with the Omega deployment lether band I got from Josh.........the man has been flawless in every respect as a dealer!!
  16. OK. This proves the caseback is not accurate in the rep. But the rep is still very accurate and a beautiful watch. I became interested in Formula 1 in the mid 80's, so the Senna is very tempting.
  17. Damn.. And I was just considering getting the 5th gen 45mm orange PO...
  18. Amazing photos. The watch really looks the business. Could not resist...........pulled the trigger on this one.
  19. Absolutely beautiful. Was such a close call for my last watch between an Omega Seamaster AquaTerra and this blue TAG Link. I am waiting on the Omega now from Josh but I think it won't be long before I order this TAG. Really like the look of the black GMT as well. Enjoy wearing it.
