well, i actually would sell this, posted pics here asking the estimate, when I found out it's $78 shipped brand new, I wanted to enjoy it

I have a Chinese movement Sub LV which was getting dusty in my drawer. Today, I decided to make it a "project" watch.. Disassembled everything, disassembled the dial (including every hour markers) broke the corners some of the bar hand markers , sanded the others from different angles (fine nail file) sanded the face of the hands (3 of them) sanded the dial, created some scratches with screwdriver. created scratches with a fine pin for every second marker (white lines) scratched around the date window on dial brushed every part of the case with sand paper bleached the green insert (now lighter than pistachio green) Now I'm spraying salted water every hour on the hands, hour markers. hoping to get them grow rust (as I brushed before, I think they will) It's completely tortured, destroyed, hard to recognize, I will put it together in 2 days and update the post with pictures

that's just playing with the words... you don't tell it's AUTHENTIC, but you don't tell it's FAKE. so, when someone buys and tells you hey this watch is FAKE, you say "I didn't describe it as AUTHENTIC" "I have nothing to add to the description, please bid on whats written here only" means, "I don't say it's authentic, bid accordingly"

Well, do you think that grooves will hold the lume paint? lume is good on dials etc, what about bare metal? hmm...

a member here posted a few pictures of his "vintage" 111H sandwich dial, heavily scratched, rusted etc. I think he even had it as his signature image. Who was that? I did a lot of "keyword" search for "vintage, vintaging, brush, sponge, scratch.... etc" but couldn't find the post..

His "Ultimate" 111H with asian movement was sth like $238 at his site. I paid some less than that as I won't be receiving any movement..

I live in NYC and pass through times sq. everyday. at first, its "wow" great superb magnificent, but after a while, you can't keep saying "move it" to big tourist groups standing all over the way taking pictures. what to say.. mankind is ungrateful...

I was asking Angus an "ultimate" 111H for 2 months, then I decided to buy parts separately and put them together. I asked Angus a 111H dial as his dial is among the bests so far (not fatty numbers). And he said he has it. I told him I will be needing a good case, crown, cg, sapphire glass with AR etc. and if there would be any compatibility issues if I buy them separately (Like DSN case is slightly bigger than the others) and... He replied me "Oh you are lucky my friend!! I have found one ultimate case at home!! Brand new never used, sapphire with AR, case with CG, thick crown and caseback" I had some problems with paypal (they restricted my account I don't know why) I sent them a few scans and they restored it just a few minutes ago, and I sent the payment right away Thank you Angus the great Now I'm missing a movement, hoping to find one very soon

I want to start building my 111H and I need your opinions. Let's say I have an Angus Dial and hands DSN case and pinoin Andrew crown and guard will it make a difference if I put asian movt. or swiss? Can I put whatever I want, or do I have to go for swiss only?

Well, Actually I was waiting an "ultimate" 111H from Angus or Davidsen, but they both said I have to wait 2 months or even more. I'm thinking of getting the Asian one with Sapphire glass. after that, I'm thinking of; - Superlume - AR coat - Cannon pin seems OK to me, what do you think? - CG, I have no idea, how do you find it? - A good strap. So, I guess I will have my "ultimate" 111H after these mods. Any recommendations? I really need your comments about the "timepiece" as It's gonna be the base all the work will be done on.
